Security Sergeant
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:

Yes. I have received warnings/bans in the past for toxicity and MRDM, however these were over a year ago when I did not take the server or roleplay as seriously as I do now. Since then, I’ve improved my behavior, understanding of server rules, and overall professionalism. I believe my recent activity reflects this improvement, and I am confident that those past mistakes no longer represent how I play or conduct myself.

Why are you applying for Security Captain?

I am applying for the Security Captain position because I want to take on a more active leadership role within Site Security and contribute positively to both the structure of the site and the overall roleplay experience. I have reached a point where I am confident in my understanding of security procedures, site protocol, and the expectations placed on leadership roles, and I believe Security Captain is the right step forward for me. One of my main motivations for applying is my interest in creating organized, meaningful security RP. I enjoy situations where leadership, decision-making, and coordination actually matter, especially during high-pressure events such as SCP breaches, raids, lockdowns, or internal threats. As a Security Captain, I want to help ensure that Security Personnel are not only doing their jobs correctly but are also actively involved in RP rather than simply standing on posts with no direction.

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?

I believe I am suitable for the role because I balance strictness with fairness (as well as a bit of fun). I take protocol and site safety seriously, and I am comfortable giving orders and enforcing rules when necessary. However, I am not someone who blindly follows authority or abuses rank. I believe that leadership should be based on competence and accountability, and I am willing to professionally question or raise concerns about decisions that could negatively impact the site or the quality of RP. This allows me to remain firm while still being reasonable and level-headed. As a leader, I aim to earn respect rather than demand it. I am always demanding the best out of GSD when I am on, I am patient with newer or less experienced Security Officers and prefer to correct mistakes in-character and through guidance rather than immediate punishment. I enjoy mentoring players, explaining procedures, and helping others improve their roleplay, which strengthens the security team as a whole and raises overall RP quality on the server.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?

The responsibilities of a Security Captain in RP include organizing and supervising security personnel, assigning patrols and posts, coordinating responses to emergencies, and maintaining discipline during routine operations and major incidents. During breaches or crises, the Security Captain must take control of the situation, communicate clearly, adapt to changing conditions, and prioritize the safety of staff, civilians, and the integrity of containment procedures. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Security Captain acts as a link between Security Officers and higher command such as the Chief of Security. This involves relaying information, enforcing orders properly, managing internal issues, and de-escalating conflicts before they disrupt RP. A Security Captain must also set the standard for professionalism and behavior, acting as a role model through consistent, fair, and immersive roleplay. Alongside being disciplined and professional, I also aim to be a fun and engaging presence for other players. I understand that SCP-RP is ultimately a game, and I make an effort to keep interactions enjoyable without breaking character or rules. Whether through in-character banter during downtime, involving others in investigations, briefings, or drills, or creating tension and atmosphere during serious moments, I try to make sure players around me feel included and invested in the RP.

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Roman Lookma is an up-and-coming Security Captain known for his strict adherence to protocol, but also for his skepticism toward blind authority. Because he has become the youngest Captain in the GSD Department, He believes rank should be earned through competence, not just titles, and is willing to challenge questionable orders if they endanger personnel or the Foundation’s mission. His RP storylines would focus on internal security conflicts, ethical dilemmas, and power struggles within Site Command. Roman is the type of officer who enforces rules firmly but expects the same accountability from those above him. Over time, this could lead to him growing ambition and wanting to gain higher leadership, tension with higher command, investigations into misconduct, or moments where his judgment either proves critical—or costly, but even with all the hardships he will go through his allegiance would never waiver as he would be willing to die for the foundation at any given moment.

Can confirm, he's a good lad.

Fairly eager, perhaps joking and unserious at times - but especially in GSD, which is a department for more casual players, that's alright. He has some way to go with command and such, but he's got a decent enough amount of interest. The only issue I have is his interest in the department - as he has a lot of other interests that may drive him partially into inactivity.

Bring him on and I'll take him under my wing, is my suggestion.
