Why are you applying for Security Captain?: Over the past months as a GSD SGT, I believe I'm ready to take on the responsibilities of this role, drawing on my expertise, the hardships I've endured for GSD, and the time I've put in for my colleagues and friends. I want to show Site 65 what I can do as a captain to help out around the site and support lower ranks, like cadets and others, in improving their skills later on when things get busy. From my time in GSD, I also want to foster greater discipline and respect across the site to improve relations with other divisions, such as the research team, MTF, ISD, and mothers, so we can all work together respectfully on our terms.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?: From my experience as a GSD SGT, I've learned what it takes to be a GSD captain teaching new cadets how to do the job right, helping out around the site as problems arise, and being more direct. But I have additional skills well suited to this position that have developed over time. Plus, I've been waiting a long time for this opportunity to rise through the ranks and help out to the best of my ability for GSD. From my knowledge, I know departmental protocols thoroughly, lead by example to support lower ranks, and prioritize discipline.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?: As a GSD captain, the responsibilities I shall list are: Managing D-block and helping out with any problems related to relations, leading SCP containment breaches, authorizing AA if SCP containment breaches go dire, being a role model and face of GSD, making sure everyone follows the COC, organizing sweeps, performing training exercises and PT, overseeing lower rankings, job ban GSD for any treason-related that occur, mentor lower ranking, follow and uphold the SOP and Code of Conduct, host tryouts, making sure bulk head doors are close during code 5 containment breach's, and promote RP events.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in: Luna Katz grew up in a strict family in the Boston area and spent her youth living under strict rules and high expectations. Once she graduated from high school, she had a passion for helping the world and confronting the corrupt minds of criminals and terrorists who show up at every turn, putting their sights on her and causing chaos. So she decided to join the US Navy and become a Master of Arms enlisted Sailor. She has faced challenges on her journey, but it all paid off. After her training was complete, she demonstrated bravery and tactical knowledge throughout her career by staging security checks, protecting personnel, enforcing laws and regulations, and providing leadership. Luna has worked up to the rank of division to MA-1 (Pretty Officer First Class) for her service within the branch. But once Luna encountered an anomalous entity, she took all the skills and training into action to fend it off before it could harm her colleagues. Then MTF E-11 of the SCP Foundation took care of the situation. Before they were about to inject her with anesthetics, they saw that Luna's skills could be very handy for the Foundation. She got hired as a GSD officer, and from that time, Luna made a great addition to the team.
