> I have received 4:
-> Sunday January 7th 2024 - Inappropriate Misconduct (I can't provide an explanation for this one, I have forgotten, sorry.)
-> Sunday February 11th 2024 - FailRP (If I remember correctly this was due to me messing around right before server restart, as I thought it would be okay. Which is also another dumb reason for me to get a warning. That I could've easily avoided.)
-> Friday July 26th 2024 - ERP (This was a really dumb one I could've easily not gotten. And looking back on it, I see that I shouldn't have said anything.)
-> Apr 18, 2025 - FailRP (I have applied to get this removed in the past, which it will not be, and I think that it should; still though I do see why it isn’t. I helped to “breach” 008, in reality it was an unauthorised test that I was forced to do under FearRP situations.)

What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the position of an Ethics Committee Member for the second time.
Allowing me to go into the position of an Ethics Committee Member will give me the ability to uphold & encourage aspects of community, server health and to boost roleplay around the site, in similarity to the UK server (without their restrictions, but rather to have easily-accessible RP that everybody can be apart of). This is so our server can have, like I previously stated: "both coins of Combat & Roleplay; allowing more of a diverse section of players to thrive, due to the fact we're limited by focusing on one aspect, and not both." This wide array of combat and roleplay will fill in gaps that certain people wish to see, and will bring more retention back to the core of why the server was made, "SCP-RP" without cutting out aspects that people enjoy, creating an environment where everybody gets to have/do their say in the fun.
I will be honest in this next part, O5/Ethics are both roles that I do not mind which one I get. Due to the fact I believe that in either role I can apply myself to bring about this goal that I wish for so badly. There isn't one that I believe can triumph the other as both have their pros/cons.
Such as for Ethics some pros that I can think of are:
- Publicity
- Availability
- Respected through trust
Due to this nature, it makes it easy to be a frontrunner for roleplay due to how out-there you are put, especially because it allows you to see first-hand how the community is shaped by your changes/support. The main change that I wish for, in a simpler way of speech, is that I want for both RP and combat to flourish, inviting in a new place for those that wish to go there.
What I've seen around the site is that roleplay is lacking, and Site Command is meant to be the main driving aspect of this "Roleplay" that we currently have; which doesn't happen all too often, but can easily if someone is there to try and push for it. I won't lie, there are a few people who do roleplay on SCP USA - which I have seen and have tried to support as Director - however these people are usually limited by the overwhelming combative side of things. These people don't get to have too many chances to shine with having major RP moments, or even having those RP moments at all, which leads me to state the point of why I will be a good candidate for the Ethics Committee.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
Due to the fact of me being the Director of Research, which is a public figure in the first place, I see a lot of the roleplay side of things. Which allows me to understand the working of RP and how I can create/manage good RP - this is also shown by the fact I get to be apart of the GM team (but I will not talk too far into this as I want to talk about the accomplishments and my skill as a normal member of the community). Since Ethics Members are of public standing and are public entities in the view of everybody, my position of DoR has let people get to know me in a casual and/or professional sense; so they will know how I can/will act in the future. Being a Director of a department is in of itself a frontrunner for what they believe in and what they love, with me wishing to change from only RSD to doing the whole site, with my previous experience as a Director showing you that I have what it takes - as it shows that I have these skills to fit into the role of ECM. Some skills I have gained as being a DoR is: publicity, availability, higher levels of professionalism, and ease-to-talk-to.
The experience of a Sr. Cl4 personnel member in of itself shows the high trust I have gained and shows that I have the capability of being both a reasonable person but also a harsh one when it comes to managing departments. My main way of handling situations of punishment/understanding is to be lenient in the beginning and consider all side of the story - some may see it as a waste of time, however I believe that only when you see the entire side of the story does it allow you to piece together everything and come to a conclusion - I then will go about factoring in the best punishment and trying to be as respectful as I can be with delivering it (whilst keeping in mind that this is a game, but I will completely remove someone if they're ruining other's experience).
I believe that due to everything I've stated here, and more, that this gives you strong reasoning as to why I should receive the promotion to Ethics Committee Member.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
The responsibilities of an Ethics Member are including, but not limited to:
> "A reasonable level of control over the roleplay atmosphere on the server."> "Our Ethics Committee manages our Code of Ethics, another in-character ruleset that dictates policy for ethical treatment of personnel and use of anomalies."
> "Ability to sway roleplay all across the site in a various number of ways"
> "Collectively manage, assign, and oversee various department leaders, and can accept applications for those positions"
> "Make sure that everything being brought forward by the Overseers is acceptable within an Ethical Standpoint"
> "Largely involved when it comes to tribunals and or punishment when it comes to violations of the Code of Ethics. This extends to all Foundation Employees, D-Class or not."
> "Oversee sitewide behaviour"
>"Making sure that Ethical standards and professionalism are being met"
> "Working closely with ISD to ensure that all personnel behave as they should. Making sure that the way things are being done is professional and ethical, indirectly tackling misbehaviour."
> "Organizing the smaller bureaucracy of ISD and the assistant team."
> "Indifferent to the outcome unless in serious situations. Concerned with how people conduct themselves - process-driven."
> "Liaise with O1 and ISD to launch full-scale investigations into players/departments regarding behaviour."
These are all quoted directly from the handbook, including some quoted from parts where people normally wouldn't read, e.g parts that aren't in the table of guidelines/from the forum post speaking about what Foundation Command does.
However I'd also like to add some of my own points:
> Activity - Ethics members are meant to be available to push RP, and assist in issues such as signatures needing to happen, or GOI welfare between Foundation and them.
> Professionalism - Ethics members are one of the highest members on site, meaning they must be a role model for all.
> Assisting departments, especially Research, with certain tasks that require ethical procedures to be overlooked.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
> Accepting/Denying Ethics assistants.> Accepting/Denying Director of ISD Applications.
> Discussing ECM applications with the ECC, to assist in his final decision
> Managing demotion appeals if they get that far up the chain of command.
> Feedback within internal ranks, including SA, to come up with decisions.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in:
