Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I find D-block to be an amazing place. The community is one of the best I’ve been apart of and I desire to build up the GENSEC community even more. I love helping newer players also. Due to most people who are new to site sign up to be cadets initially, a lot of lesser experienced personnel need assistance and that is why I wish to be Security Captain. One final reason is the image I have for the future of GSD. GSD has very little opportunities to be apart of the events that take place on-site. I want to change this, I want Gensec to be just as important in these events as anybody else. Gensec needs change, I want to bring this change and make Gensec bigger and better.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I have been in the position of Security Sergeant for a while now, roughly half a year at this point, so I know many of the captains, officers and response units amongst D-block. I believe I have a decent reputation within GENSEC and this is why I’d to try and lead GENSEC to a better position. Additionally, I love helping newer personnel, which mostly consist of cadets. Many are unsure about what their job is, how to do their job and how to maximise the efficiency of their job. Moreover, I have been captain in the past and I believe I did a good job during my brief position as captain. I held many license tryouts and assisted in many of the interdepartmental relations issues.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
The responsibilities are as followed:
-Guaranteeing D-block has a suitable number of personnel.
-Hosting RCL and HWL tryouts.
-Organising or delegating sweeps during mass D-class riots.
-Seeking out potential candidates for sergeant and conducting the interview.
-Giving work permits to trusted D-class and assigning these D-class with a viable escort.
-Using appropriate firing formations for SCP breaches or CI raids that are threatening D-block
-Leading sweeps around LCZ or delegating sweeps to officers/sergeants.
-Maintaining order in D-block
-Improving relations with other departments.
