Recent VTime:
I am applying for O5-4, with the codename 'The Fool'! I wanted to lean a little into tarot culture, as in tarot The Fool represents new beginnings, and a potential for a fresh start, but can also be interpreted as a fear of the unknown, and the inability to let go. These qualities I plan on using within roleplay and storylines.
I am applying for the Council because I feel it is a logical next step to take. I have played across many different roles, a majority being roleplay heavy roles, and have found a great love for creating and guiding roleplay within my nearly 2 years of playing various roles. I think it's time I try to take a shot at applying, as I feel not only would I fit in well with the current cast of the Council, but I have also developed far as a roleplayer, going from a kind of mingey executive, to a department director with several storylines surrounding me.
I want to apply to start helping people take roleplay back to the roots of fun, engaging, and memorable. So often do I see people struggling to engage with storylines or roleplay because they either feel they can't keep up with CL4 personnel, or because the storyline is simply too complex for them to grasp., which ties nicely back into my codename, 'The Fool', as I will be (hopefully) roleplaying as a foolishly hopeful individual trying her god honest best to help.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I feel I am the best candidate for the Council due to my roleplay capabilities and my history on the server within the various roles I have been in. Through these roles, I have garnered a love for roleplay and creating meaningful storylines, and have put effort in to maintain a level of professionalism throughout my career as DoR, which I believe transfers well to the current Council roster. Below are some of the main qualities I believe make me the best candidate for the O5 Council.
Roleplay Creation and Leading:
I am leading a large ongoing project that I created and wrote called (very lamely) the Climate Project. The first of this test was to take 5 SCP players up to surface and record their reactions to the cold. This test started with a lecture, lead by myself, and had a majority of 20+ people attending, before beginning to take each SCP up to surface. There, I managed and organised each SCP into groups with researchers, medical personnel, E-11, GOC and Nu-7, as well as O5! Each group was headed off to a separate part of Pinewood, as this would allow for each little group to roleplay individually within themselves, as well as not overwhelm anyone with a large group of people. The test went exceptionally well, and even got this photo with O5-3 and SCP-7722. At one point I even think there was a CI in my group.

Following this, there was a second surface test, in which six SCP's are taken to an observational site, around a strange 'zero-gravity' occurrence deep underground. The test follows the same principle, however this time things are much more involved. Each SCP has a 'lead' Researcher, and will be split up again, with a team of E-11 and RSD dedicated to each SCP. The involved departments were RSD, Medical, E-11, CI, GOC, O5, A-1, DEA, Nu-7, with everyone being organised from a lecture at 4:30pm, to complete chaos in Media Room at 5:47pm, to finally getting everyone out to the dupe at 6pm. There, I organised each RSD into order, and had the anomalies work into a schedule to have each group into the dupe.

It turned out a bit of a shit show, but it was our shitshow. While Aphex and the amazing GM team held things up from the GM standpoint, I was leading the RP side of things! We ended things with some interesting new facts about the SCP's, and hopefully showcased a standard of roleplay that can be achieved!

Activity:
I am unfortunately a degenerate.
I spend upwards of 4 hours a day on this godforsaken game, which gives me the terrible curse of being aware of a lot of site workings. And yes, this is a good thing. I am active, and engaged with the community at its core. My finger is quite literally on the pulse, I do not leave my room, I need help, I'm writing this at 4:27am.
But being active is a huge advantage, because not only do I have more time to create RP, but I have more time to engage with other players and help roleplay progress through tests or documents or random visits dropping by. While being a dedicated roleplayer is a core feature of being an O5, having an active presence around the community and its playerbase can help both sides generate their RP, as no longer do they have to halt all RP to wait for an O5 to flag on, or waiting for a member of SC to appear for a meeting.

Dedication:
I love roleplay. I truly believe it is the most creative thing one could possibly do. And my dedication to not only upkeep the level of RP currently on site, but also try to help bring new RP, and improve issues stemming from RP make me a more than ideal candidate for O5. Roleplay doesn't always need to be overcomplicated with intense PAC3 or AdvDupe's. Roleplay should be engaging and fun, simple to understand so anybody could join in. Too often I see RP that's 'classified' or 'CL4+', and I want to start bringing RP to the lower ranks, who deserve to get the same standard of RP that we as CL4 do!
I make a dedicated promise to bring RP down to everyone, as they joined an RP server. It's important to me that everyone gets a shot to showcase their RP skills, even in the smallest moments. I want to help preserve RP, and I believe that the qualities I've stated above make me a candidate worth thinking about, especially for such an influential role like O5-4.

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
While on the O5 Council, in RP there are a large amount of responsibilities that come with a CL5 role. To maintain professionalism and maturity and continue to uphold standards set, whether it be through quality roleplay or helping write storylines, the duties (to be boring and list them) are as follows:
- Call the Alpha Warhead if ERT has failed, a breach has gotten out of hand, or to reset RP if there is a significant impact on roleplay health for the duration.
- Authorising termination attempts on SCPs.
- Hold 'veto' power over the FLC and its changes through the Ethics Committee.
- Give out hearings and/or citations to people who have fucked up enough to warrant something more than a regular arrest.
-Help out departments that may be struggling, either through roleplay creation or through assisting with policies.
- Getting orders done through OSA's or A-1, especially if it can generate RP.
-Auth Mass-Term when necessary to maintain RP or stop a prolonged scenario that stops RP.
- Call ERT when a breach gets too much to handle for E-11 and other MTF.
- Deal with GOI's (event or mainly GOC) for tests, negotiations, or meetings (boring.)
All of this, alongside the main responsibility of an O5 member, which is to create roleplay! That's what they're supposed to do, whether it be through involved storylines for A-1, a long project handed down to RSD, or a weird prosthetic design for Medical. Roleplay generation is at the heart of O5, and there is a huge responsibility to not only create roleplay, but to create GOOD roleplay.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
O5 are able to handle applications for:
- Site Director
- Director of Research
- A-1 Commander
- Overseer Assistants
They're responsibilities can also bleed into other departments if they choose to help out a struggling department, like assigning OSA's to a Consultant whitelist or joining the job yourself. Demotions are also handled OOCly by O5, which occur when players aren't fufilling duties or are becoming an active hindrance to the health of a department.
Please give some lore about your O5 character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Lore:
Personnel Dossier - Penny 'POP' Fizzlebang-Tierson
Medical Report #25G6B
Possible Storylines:
One I've been thinking of, is because I've bulldozed my old lore to create this new disease, It could make for interesting RP for both RSD and MED to work together to try and 'cure' this compound.
