Story behind why she suddently grabs combat gear:
In her first week at Site 65, she has noticed the heavy amount of people getting hurt due to combat, either via CI raids or constant containment breaches.
With this in mind and wishing to help more people, and her history of helping medically back during World War Two, she went to the MLT, showing interest in becoming a Combat Medic to help more people on the field, however only when she is actually needed, like a giant Code 5.
The MLT agreed, most notably Consultant Greg Vanderboobin, training her how to be a modern Combat Medic.
(This could also result in some interesting RP of higher ups outside of MLT questioning this and putting her on trial too)
