Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?:
I want to take on some more responsibility within the department, I enjoy my interactions with other ISD members and other departments and try my best to take part in RP scenarios and being inspector would create more opportunities. I've also spent the bulk of my time on the server in MTF/CI and I would like to participate in a more RP centric role even if it is still a combative one.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I always try to be fair and not overstep my authority. I carry out orders from higher ups to the best of my abilities and I use my judgement in difficult situations. When punishing people who violate the FLC I will give warnings rather than arresting if they are cooperative and I also try to understand the situation before making a decision. I also try to be a good example and not tarnish the reputation of ISD when interacting with others.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
I haven't really written any important documents aside from a few arrest reports but I am always willing to learn and I can work on improving my documentation. A good document should be:
Inspectors are trusted with Jr CL4 knowledge and the responsibilities that come with it and should be the first point of contact if any CL3's have issues. They should
I believe I did an alright job leading back when I was a CO in MTF/CI and I think my experience within the department while not extremely long has been enjoyable and I feel like I am ready to take on some more responsibility. I'd like to think I am an approachable person who people would be comfortable taking advice from or coming to with issues.
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jonathan Wednesday (DOB 17/08/1994) was born in western Scotland but his family moved to Canada when he was 6 years old. He had an uneventful upbringing save for a juvenile arrest for computer misuse, and got a degree in computer science from the University of Toronto before working some service jobs for a period. Jonathan is an easy going individual. He enjoys testing the limits of computer software and has a fondness for cats. He has a history of depression but psychiatric evaluations have shown his mental state is within acceptable parameters. The foundation initially became aware of his existence when he accidentally encountered an anomalous computer and attempted to gain access. Foundation forces deployed to the area found him unresponsive and brought him in along with the anomaly for examination. Medical staff were able to resuscitate him and upon questioning by Internal Security he explained that he had a prophetic vision of an alternate world before losing consciousness. Impressed with his skills at accessing the anomaly where their researchers were failing, the Director of Internal Security offered him a position within the SCP foundation.
