What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I believe I would be a good candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant because of the experience I have gained through both Medical and operational roles within the Foundation.
As a Senior Doctor who specializes in psychology, a large part of my role involves listening to people, understanding different perspectives, and making fair assessments based on the information available to me. I regularly interact with personnel from a wide range of departments, which has helped me develop a good understanding of how the Foundation functions as a whole and the challenges each department faces.
I consider myself someone who can remain calm and level-headed when dealing with difficult situations. I understand that many decisions within the Foundation are rarely black and white, and I believe it is important to look at all sides of a situation before reaching a conclusion. This is something I try to do both in roleplay and when interacting with other members of the community.
More than anything, I want to help create enjoyable and meaningful roleplay for others while carrying out the responsibilities of an Ethics Committee Assistant in a professional and fair manner.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Ethics Committee Assistants are there to support the Ethics Committee and help make sure that Foundation operations are handled properly and follow ethical standards.
One of their responsibilities is helping review and approve documents, making sure that reports, requests, and other important paperwork are properly handled before reaching the Ethics Committee.
They can also assist with Tribunal cases by helping gather information, organizing evidence, and supporting the process to make sure cases are handled fairly and professionally.
Another responsibility is carrying out tasks and orders given by the Ethics Committee. This means acting as a representative of the Committee when needed and ensuring that their decisions are properly followed.
Ethics Committee Assistants should also help maintain the correct ethical procedures during RP. They should make sure situations are handled fairly and according to Foundation standards, while also helping create meaningful roleplay for others.
Finally, they help uphold the standards of the Ethics Committee even when no Committee members are currently present on-site. They act as a reminder of the Committee's presence and help ensure that personnel continue following proper procedures.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Lukas "Skull" Kraljic has spent his time within the Foundation working alongside different departments and gaining experience with how the organization operates. During this time, he became interested in the systems that keep the Foundation functioning beyond containment and security, especially the importance of accountability and proper procedures.
Through his experiences, Lukas developed a reputation for being calm, observant, and willing to hear multiple sides of a situation before making a decision. He believes that the Foundation requires a balance between efficiency and responsibility, and that ethical standards are important even in difficult situations.
Because of this mindset, Lukas is applying for the position of Ethics Committee Assistant. He hopes to assist the Committee with reviewing situations, supporting investigations, helping with Tribunal cases, and making sure Foundation personnel continue to follow proper procedures.
If accepted, Lukas would be involved in storylines involving internal investigations, ethical conflicts between departments, Tribunal cases, and situations where the Foundation has to make difficult decisions while maintaining its principles.
