Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I want to help create an amazing department to be able to RP in, to help new players begin their testing and sampling career and helping more experienced players get the most out of their RP. I want to help develop bigger stories not only within RSD but the server as a whole. The current leadership team is stretched thin and I massively appreciate Morikas and Claire for the effort they have put in over the past month, I want to help them and take some of that burden away from them, to let them get back to RPing again and not just stuck for hours grading and signing. I want to bridge the gap with some of the other departments by hosting lectures with them and letting them into our RSD world of RP. I am someone who wants to sit down and fix the current policies, not only to add a little freedom but to close some pesky loopholes.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
My attention to detail is second to none. All that Policy, Procedures and Documents I love it! It’s the small boring stuff that massively elevates RP. Whilst I may not agree on every policy and how it was written I am always willing to listen and debate with all ranks and departments, so that I can gain insight and discuss with others how they feel about those things. I an on site almost daily for 4ish hours so I’d always be around for onboardings, documents and gradings. As I mentioned above it would also give the more experienced leadership a chance to RP more. I am a vary patient and thorough mentor for the juniors already, a prime example is Bethany’s first document. I sat with her for a while showing her the ropes of RSD documentation and helping her craft a work of art that got her her first “Excellent” and am incredibly proud to see she took to it like a duck to water.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
Currently I have 2 “Visual Disruption Response of SCP-049s to High-Intensity photographic flashes” and “999 SSRI Synth attempt”
An excellent document as per the handbook is:
“All sections have been used and filled with detailed information
Additional subheadings have been used where necessary
Highly detailed and analytical
Almost no spelling, grammar or punctuation errors
Good use of images, diagrams and photographs
The research conducted is unique, relevant and useful
The conclusion forecasts a practical use for the findings
The research directly benefits the SCP Foundation mission statement”
however in my opinion an excellent document also should captivate the person reading it, if a document was just “I did this, then I did this, I should try this next time” it’s not very interesting to read.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
As with any cl4 position there are responsibilities site wide. Opening and closing blast doors during codes, escorting non-combative personnel to the breach shelter and maintaining overall professionalism for the site.
Within RSD you have clerical duties: signing, grading and logging documents. Teaching new juniors the ropes through onboarding. There are still testing expectations and now that you are cl4 they should be more in-depth and story driven tests.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jackwell’s 073 tests as 073, I enjoy discussing backstories of SCPs and exploring them. Currently we have turned a bug in one test into some big lore and are going down biblical themes. I am planning to trying to hint at a cross test with 076-2 as I think that will yield some cool RP.
Pre-Foundation
Ella studied robotics electrical engineering and criminal law at Oxford with her intentions of joining the Royal Engineers once finishing her masters. However this was turned upside down when she witnessed a dark hooded figure in one of the labs one night. The man seemed to be wearing an ancient plague doctor’s outfit and was hunched over….. A dead body. Ella watched hooked and captivated as this mad man cut, injected and stitched this dead body. Until it moved, it sat up and started shuffling round the lab. She was so freaked out she ran back to her dorm to try and find answers. Who was the man? How did he do those things? Why was he here? She tried to search for the answers on her laptop but strangely there was nothing, after hours and hours of searching she fell asleep. When she awoke her laptop on the end of her bad had a black screen with a single message in white “Find yourself wanting answers? Y|N” she keyed Y. her laptop started billowing smoke so she threw it on the ground and tried to stumble towards the door, she fell out of the door gasping for air as a bag was thrown over her head and she was taken to a site training facility for foundational onboarding.Upcoming storylines Ella is involved in
“Hands off”
I've been doing some tests on the 22415 trio and for a final event. gradually my tests plan to be more pushy and demanding of the trio until one day RSD members start to disappear, as more and more are taken a note is left indicating that they still want to help, but we need to apologize. So myself, a cartographer and an Exec would travel into the 22415 dimension to talk to the trio and ask for the research staff back.“Project Obsidian Signal”
This one I am really happy with so far, I plan to gradually have 079 decrypt CI comms slowly through a series of tests to eventually foil a rade and for them to discover how we did it, leading them to change comms and retaliate somehowOther storylines I am involved in:
Bethany’s 682 tests as 682, I am really loving this role as I get to really push the RSD for more RP before getting results.Jackwell’s 073 tests as 073, I enjoy discussing backstories of SCPs and exploring them.
