Character name(s): Drake 'Hotson' Orion
Civilian name: Richard "jellyroll Johnson

Do you have a mic?: Yes

- UK A1 LCPL if I remember, US E-11 COM, US A1 SPC, US CI Delta

- I have 3 warnings in 2023 for RDM, RDM Toxicity and FailRP and 4 warnings in 2025 for Mic Spamming, Toxicity, and 2 FailRP

Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- I've been in the medical department for some time and have mostly dedicated myself to medical because of how fun I find it to play. The people around me in medical are great to interact with.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- I have plenty of experience in previous CL4 roles and know how to handle information carefully and how to deal with sensitive and tense situations. I also have been a CMS for a long time in which I was in charge of making sure Combat Medics were well behaved and doing their jobs correctly. I have also been with the medical department for a very long time as stated before so I have a lot of experience with how a consultant needs to work.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- I will explain a cybernetic augmentation. This will be an operation to give the patient a new reinforced spine that can help them increase their carrying capacity, as well as being durable enough to fight off any would be attackers and SCPs. First I would order a custom surgical bench with many automated tools and arms so that we can accurately perform the surgery. Once this is in order, the patient will be prepped and placed onto the surgery bed face down so we can access the spine. We would give them plenty of pain killers to ensure they don't feel anything. I would make an incision along the spine taking care to avoid veins and nerves. Once this is done, the patient will be opened up and his spine will be carefully removed to be replaced. After the spine is removed a new augmented spine will be implanted taking care again to not put unneeded or unwanted pressure on existing organs as the new spine will be very heavy. When this is in place it will be connected delicately to the nerves and such and then the back will be stitched back up again. The patient will be monitored for a few days to ensure they correctly acclimate to the new enhancements. Once they are able to move around we will perform some simple mobility tests to make sure they are able to return to their duties.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- To ensure medical trainees are properly trained in medical practices and to ensure no one gets in trouble. Also to perform high clearance procedures and surgeries and to make sure procedures are being done correctly like psych evals. In addition to that they also keep up good relations between other departments and are the first point of contact if a report on medical staff misbehaving is needed.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- My consultant character will be Drake Orion who is a former special forces medic from a classified military unit within the US Marine corps. His unit was tasked with dealing with strange and supernatural forces linked to terrorism. It was through this work that he was eventually noticed and contacted for recruitment by RAISA to work on Site-65. Drake has a bit of a fascination with the occult and would be very eager to investigate any religious supernatural events going on. Some plans I have are for Drake to begin a collection of artifacts that may be of sinister origin and could lead to some fun RP or dangerous scenarios. Drake has a bit of a militaristic mindset from his background and will act as a bit of a commander when working within medical.

Brother taught me most of what I know about how to be a Combat Medic and Medical in general. Wouldn't have been as likely to join them without you and would love to see my bestie in this role
