Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
I am applying for Director of Internal Security because I genuinely believe I can make a larger and positive impact on ISD as Director. I have been a Commissioner for the better part of two months, during which I have gained experience with investigations, management, procedures, and the strengths and weaknesses of ISD. Which i plan to improve on and fix a large majority of the issues within ISD to restore the department to a state that is not only acceptable but exceptional.
I also plan on introducing a new Legal system to allow anyone on-site to recieve sufficent legal representation and ensure they have rights during any interactions with ISD such is Interrogation's, Investigation's and Arrest's. This system would afford ISD much more roleplay surrounding the detainment of on-site personnel.
Ever since i first started working my way up the ranks in ISD i have been taught and mentored by Ehrendil, Tim and Hersh on how to be a better ISD overall and i believe their mentorship has given me the necessary foundation to develop my skills to what they are today.

What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
- I am aware of how to carry myself and maintain proper conduct, and I understand when escalation or de-escalation is necessary to handle situations correctly. I always try to stay calm and professional in situations, even when things get stressful.
- I am fair and approachable In-Character or Out Of Character, I always try my best to help and educate people when needed. I don’t mind taking the time to explain things or guide someone if they are unsure
- I'm also active and help around on-site where needed. I’m around to step in, assist with situations, or just support ISD where I can.
- I know what is best for this department and how to reform ISD to make it more liked and appreciated around site. I want ISD to be seen as firm but fair, and a department people respect rather than avoid, and I’m willing to put in the work to help move it in that direction.
- No matter what I do, I give my best and always try to push myself to improve even further. I’m not afraid to question decisions when something doesn’t seem right, but I always approach it in a way that keeps things respectful and productive. I try to resolve conflict in a fair and calm way.
- I really care about ISD, and I’m genuinely passionate about helping the department grow into the best it can be. I want to help shape it into a department that people respect and actually enjoy working with. and I’m committed to putting in the effort to make that happen.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
First off, the Director is there to lead the department and the people in it, not just manage paperwork. A big part of the role is helping Inspectors and Commissioners grow and become better at what they do, which in turn helps the whole department improve.
The Director should also be keeping good relations with other departments. When issues pop up, it’s our job to work with those departments, figure out what’s going wrong, and fix it before it turns into a bigger problem.
Investigations are a huge part of ISD, and some of the current ones have been open for a long time. As Director, I’d work on Operations to make sure investigations are being properly managed, kept up to date, and handled to a high standard.
It’s important that high standards are always kept, since ISD is one of the most forward-facing departments in The Foundation. I’d be working closely with leadership to make sure everyone is doing their job properly, feeling supported, and that Inspectors who show potential are being helped toward becoming Commissioners.
The Director is also there to handle complaints, especially ones involving leadership, and make sure they’re dealt with fairly and in reasonable time.
the Director works closely with Ethics as well. And should maintain a good level of communication with the Committee and keep them in the loop with new developments or issues.
Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
