What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Allow all Senior CL4 personnel to spawn props without exceptions. This would include DEA Managers, ISD Commissioners, and MTF Commissioned Officers (Major) and also allow MTF to spawn props when they are not on the commander job.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I am not aware of a similar suggestion.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
  • Significant boost to roleplay opportunities, allowing for more immersive and dynamic scenarios.
  • Greater flexibility for Senior CL4s to create necessary props during some events, trainings, and investigations without waiting for other staff or GMs which tend to be busy with their own factions...
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Potential for abuse, but given the trust and responsibility already required for Senior CL4 positions, this risk is minimal.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Senior CL4s have already proven themselves as trusted, responsible members of the server with a strong understanding of RP standards. Allowing them to spawn props even if limted to 10 props will enhance their ability to lead, create engaging scenarios, and respond to situations effectively without relying on others. This change would streamline RP setup, reduce delays, and ultimately improve the quality of roleplay for everyone on the server.

I am not aware of a similar suggestion.
We have actually had this discussion to death - I myself recall a couple suggestions on this, could only find this via searching:
But I do recall a more recent suggestion that asked for RP leadership roles to be able to spawn props in some capacity

And it's always met with the same, IMO pretty salient response, that the ability to spawn props is a very locked-down thing that is restricted only to GM and Staff roles, because they should only be used for permaprops (which themselves are intended to be optimised and as minimal as possible for the purpose of reducing lag) and events/RP enhancements.

In short, even ignoring the problem of abuse that you raised, there instead is a significant performance issue. This will likely be rejected for primarily that reason.

That's not true though, we gave department leaders access to spawn props.
