Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: I have over a year of experience managing a staff team of 30+ on a CityRP server. I was a Sector Lead, (2nd in command of staff), for that server, as well as the Recruitment and Mentor Team Manager. I spent time as an Event/Game Master for that server as well; and I was also later the HR Department Manager, as well as the Client Services Manager, overseeing all of that company's servers.

Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: One achievement, I am very proud of in game, is my time spent as Chief of Security. I spent over 9 months as Chief, and during that time I believe I made a substantial impact on GSD as a whole, while also implementing a great deal of positive change for the department.

At the time, Gensec was a lot more "bare bones" then the current state it is in now. The internal rank system had just been implemented, we had no Captain training guides, docs needed to be reworked or created, no SRU or SCU, no site wide access and frankly little to no respect from the other departments. Using what I had learned from my previous staffing experience, I dedicated all my energy to fixing these issues to the best of my ability; and over time, I believe I achieved that goal(of course with help from my Sr Captains and the 3 other chiefs I had over my time).

During my time as Chief, I worked very hard to improve our standing and relations with other departments. This was achieved through many long discussions with Department Heads, and many examples of GSD being better through trainings/lectures/escorts/tryouts/patrols/raids/etc. It was difficult, but I believe those efforts left a lasting impression for the betterment of GENSEC. Our main sub regiment, Alef-6, saw great improvement as I fought for better relations and privileges that allowed A-6 to have free access site-wide and on surface compound. All while working closely with Nu-7 to assist within site, on surface, on raids, and with hunting SCPs. I created/reworked many documents for GSD, attempting to strengthen the department at its core members; as well as making training guides for incoming leadership roles. Once I achieved what I had set out to do, I focused on building up the next cycle of Chiefs to be ready to pick up the torch. All of this combined effort, and the effort of those who were there to help me, culminated in a GSD that I was extremely proud to lead.

Why would you like to become a staff member: I would like to become a staff member because I have always enjoyed helping others and enhancing their experience while playing on the server. I have a plethora of experience in that regard from my time spent as a staff member in the past, as well as my time as CoS on Civil. I always take it upon myself to better, not only myself, but those around me as well.

I take pride in building up my surroundings and making positive change for others to benefit from on the server.
I have never been one to shy away from hard work, because I know that the change hard work brings, is always worth the effort in the end. I have found that the way I approach situations, with friendliness and an approachable attitude, has always helped to disarm those on edge during sits and ease any anxiety that may be present. I am on all hours of the night and always quick to respond to those in need. I am a skilled leader and a quick learner. I believe I will be able to take everything I've learned from past experiences, and apply it to the staff team to great affect.

If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: Looking in from the outside, the only thing I could think of to improve is transparency. I have been in a few sits where the staff member was very closed off and avoided sharing all of the information they knew. I believe that the best way to have players trust the staff members fully, and feel good about the result of a situation, is to be open and transparent with every step of the situation. Although, this could have just been something I alone experienced. However, If I am accepted, I would be able to see the team from the inside, thus highlighting any real issues that may appear; and if so, I will be eager to help solve them.
