What will you do to stop this from happening again: In the future, I will be far more careful about what I repeat out loud, whether it is written in chat or on screen. I will think before speaking and make sure this doesn't happen again.

Why should you be unbanned: I would like to apologize for what happened. I repeated something offensive out loud without thinking in a Teamspeak voicechat, but there was no malicious intent behind it and it was not directed at anyone. I fully understand why action was taken, and I am only trying to explain that it was a mistake.

A player on the Ranger job made Komodo wanted using a racial slur as the reason, and I carelessly read it out loud in Teamspeak without thinking. I take responsibility for repeating it, even though there was no malicious intent behind what I said.

I’d like to appeal this warning/ban because having something this serious on my record will likely hurt my chances of applying for special roles on the server, like AO or CL4. I understand why it was taken seriously, but I feel the punishment was a bit harsh considering it was a dumb mistake and not me intentionally trying to be toxic.

After review of the evidence provided concerning this appeal, you were not the player who issued this warrant. The matter of concern is that you decided to state the content of the warrant in a TS channel with multiple members of the community, while from your appeal, I can see you are remorseful for the action taken by yourself.

Typically, this type of ban is issued with a 2-week ban, but after Astro had spoken with another staff member, they came to the decision to lower this to a 1-week ban instead due to no ill intent being found and that you had apologised for your actions.

I still believe that the 1-week ban is warranted and will remain in effect. Please allow this to serve as a reminder to think before you speak, as what was said is in no way appropriate to be said within the community.
