What will you do to stop this from happening again: Honestly, just don't be a moron. In hindsight it's quite obvious how shredding documents is a dick move and hurtful, and even if I didn't do it, I stuck around the wrong person and got punished for it. I'll update my knowledge on the rules, and it should make it clearer to me what is and isn't allowed.
Why should you be unbanned: I was just playing D-Class and I had managed to escape with someone else who I really don't know, we grabbed disguises and were just roaming around the site with the help of 079. We went up to floor 3 and started exploring, I personally was just reading all the documents I could on the walls, whilst my D-class "buddy" was just shredding them with no second thought. At the time I didn't think much of it as we were D-Class and I didn't know that it was a rulebreak. Then we went to the ethics offices and same stuff, I read all the docs I could, whilst he shredded all he could with no second thought behind it. As I've stated previously, I had no idea that what he was doing was a rulebreak and if I had the hindsight I would've walked away and reported it. I've seen his ban appeal and I'd like to apologize to the regiment members and RP leaders who made the documents and how the time you've willingly spent was flushed down the toilet due to some griefer, but I'd like to state I didn't assist him, I didn't know this was a rulebreak at the time and I sincerely apologize to those affected, I'll read upon the rules and update my knowledge of them to the best of my ability, and if possible I'd like for you to forgive me too.
