Removing the Pull out time for the ID Card (Own Team)
The Following jobs have the ID Card (Own Team)
O5-1 O5-2 O5-3 O5-4 Ethics Committee Member Chairman of the Ethics Committee Overseer Assistant Ethics Committee Assistant CI - Commander and ISD

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Nope

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
People don't get gunned down for reaching (the 2 pistols spinning above the persons head)
All other ID Cards doesn't have it so it why should this one have it

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
None

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
it will prevent people from getting randomly killed because they try to undisguise but they get killed by someone who thinks they are pulling a weapon on them

Oh, that's probably very much not as intended. That occurs because the SWEP is marked as contraband. Which also means it can be taken with a weapon checker, I believe. I would have just made a bug report.

I asked and @Auburn said it was intentional. I assume to make taking a disguise less magically fast.

Ah. That makes sense, but in that case, I think we need a separate VWar flag & associated functionality that would have that same delay feature, but otherwise operates differently to contraband, in that primarily, it shouldn't be able to be taken by weapon checkers - But maybe also doesn't give people the impression that you're pulling out a weapon.

Prevents fast swapping to disguise as someone, which was already quite abusable if you have binds.
I would also argue that being able to remove a disguise card with a weapon checker adds to realism, in that it is actually strippable now.
