There is a real fine line between giving your feedback on an application and attacking a person. This guy should not get the role at all; that was evident from the first day this application was up, but the amount of hate and dedication to hating on this application is insane. It's gotten to a point where this isn't even about the position anymore; it's genuine hate towards the person nit-picking even the smallest mistakes and giving no feedback on how he could improve. This does nothing but form a toxic community and shy people away from applying for positions. Just leave your feedback, and try not to make this thing personal; at the end of the day, it's a game.

Anyway, -support It's evident you need to work on a few things and get more time under your belt without incident to hopefully fix your image a little bit that was ruined while you were director of research.

I'm not denying that... It 100% should be addressed, but the way it's been done is borderline toxic, even going as far as to make videos? Like, I get addressing an issue, but this post has just gotten to another level, and at this point, it's beyond addressing issues with a person getting the role it feels personal.

I can absolutely understand why some people would think I went too hard on him, but it's not just from a place of personal dislike. I'm not going to hide my bias because I do genuinely dislike the guy, but I tried to make sure the only personal aspect of my reply to his app was the weird DM he sent me unprompted. Everything else is something he has decided to do (and should be called out on) or actions taken out by ISD members that we know are heavily influenced by him via his direct training or through his inability to reprimand ISD members. The following actions, whether by him or the larger department that he wishes to be a director of, have screwed over the gameplay loop/enjoyment of other players. Primarily RsD which is why I get so salty about it. There's a lot more I could have talked about, including new points with how he digs himself deeper holes in his reply to me, but I think it's best to keep it to one nuke per-person.

EDIT: I am not trying to threaten a third nuke, but instead agree with you to an extent these replies are bitter as hell and should stop soon if not now. Said bitterness is partially why I'm taking a few months off the server and why my reply should be taken with some salt. Unfortunately, it seems I am not the only person who is both bitter and has receipts against him.

Points valid or not, this is just mega-cringe and toxic. Makes you look as bad as you claim him to be, bringing in personal feelings. This kinda shit would make me not even want to try to improve, or bother.

Completely agree with this.

I think SL should lock this till verdict is given before more hysteria is drummed up, becoming far too common in this community these days. A shame.
