What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestions allows Research Leadership to job ban cartographers. Similarly to the Thaumatologist, the job is an easy and instant access to a level 3 keycard. Because of this, some players in the past have abused this to conduct minge behavior, whether it is helping D-Class escape via placing portals, or just shooting up other players. These issues cause the normal gameplay loop to be frustrating, especially because committing treason RP is against the rules without SSL approval. When a ban is conducted to a Cartographer, nothing happens, and they can continuously flag on, causing issues for everyone involved.

Improved Role Accountability
Allowing Research Leadership to job-ban cartographers would help prevent players from abusing the role’s instant access to a level 3 keycard, reducing incidents of minge behavior like unauthorized portal use or rule-breaking treason RP.
Better Gameplay Experience
By removing problematic players from the role quickly, normal RP and gameplay loops would remain uninterrupted, leading to a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone on the server.

Risk of Abuse
Giving Research Leadership the power to job-ban could lead to misuse or inconsistent enforcement if clear guidelines aren’t set, possibly causing frustration for players who feel unfairly targeted. To negate this, both respective sites can create a document Guidelines for both Thaumatologists and Dimensional Cartographers (The US server does not have one from what I have personally witnessed as an Executive, and has not had one for a while now. I'm not going to be writing one either, as that is up to SA/DoR to write these guidelines.)

Right now, Cartographers have easy access to a Level 3 keycard, and past abuse of this role has led to significant disruptions such as unauthorized portal use that has assisted with D-Class escapes, which would fall under TreasonRP. These actions break immersion, frustrate other players, and interfere with the normal gameplay loop. Allowing Research Leadership to job-ban problematic Cartographers would give the department a direct and immediate tool to address misuse of the job, ensuring the role is used responsibly and improving the overall quality of RP and server enjoyment for everyone.
While concerns like potential overreach and additional workload for leadership are valid, these can be mitigated with clear rules that all Cartographers must follow. With those protections in place, the risk of misuse becomes minimal, leaving behind a system that prioritizes fairness, accountability, and a better gameplay environment.
