What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion will add a grenade launcher that does good damage to SCPs, but negligible damage to humans. Whether it's as part of an existing E-11 job or a new E-11 job I'll leave to be decided by Content Team.

The rate of fire would be the same / similar as the CI Grenadier as to not do excessive damage in 1 go to an SCP. Further monitoring I think would be beneficial too as to ensure it doesn't make E-11 too fast at recontaining breaches.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
There has been uh, quite a lot of discussion about the CI Grenadier, but as the SCP damage mechanic is new there has been nothing like this I believe.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- New E-11 content :D
- New way to combat horde SCPs (008-02, 049-2)
- Restoring RP faster from detrimental breaches like 008 and mass breaches.
- Foundation counterpart to CI Grenadier
- Can be part of VIP package, more $$$

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Balance
- Dev time D:
- 049 will need working around as few 049-2s aren't that strong in smaller numbers

E-11 is in need of new content, it's a high priority ticket. The grenadier job was initially to go to E-11 before it went to CI, but that's a train that has long departed. Now, with the ability to add damage vs humans and vs SCPs, E-11 can have a dedicated anti-SCP job / weapon (that isn't AA). It is of course early days with this change, but this is my idea of how it can help E-11.

God, I'm really bad at this part aren't I? I don't really have loads to say. The function is there, I think this is a cool way it can be added to E-11.

Maybe as an AA item with a cooldown like the matador for E-11 but no permanent weapon on a job.

049-2 and 008-2 hordes need a better counter minus a one time use nitro. The auger works for 049-2 hordes but sucks to use effectively with moron cadets in the way (Love you Gensec never change.) Maybe make it a tac tablet thing where it's delivered through a pheumatic tube.

I don't think its really something E11 would look normal using considering the equipment and job types you have now. As a AA weapon Maybe but I feel like the AA12 & nitro & Nerve gas is for. I just don't think its something thats needed considering ERT, GOC & the two AOE AA weapons that E11 have in their armory willl make this just ineffective.

How much would a grenade launcher support the E11 gameplay loop? I thought this suggestion was to add a weapon to fight against groups of SCPs which E-11 Content realistically doesnt need as from what ive seen these breaches have been fine or usually don't happen all that much. (unless im wrong which I probably might be)

i do not think this is needed since breaches are way less harmful now that most of them are from a single SCP (unless CI is involved), 008 breaches are too rare to develop something to counter them (and if 008 breach occurs AA is more powerful), 049-2 swarms are probably like 0.5% of 049 breaches, just grabbing a hazmat makes 049 almost useless
 
I forgot they added the SCP and human damage multipliers mb
but still having grenade launchers to use against SCPs feels unbalanced.
If you're that concerned, TG w/ bullet freeze/wall still crushes this TBH. Like it's not like this would have no counterplay. This would at most be unfair to 049 but it's already gonna get buffed, so
