What server are you applying for: USA

Your Username: Stone
Discord Username: hydra.404
Age: 16
What's your current playtime (type !time in-game): I've got just above a week of playtime

Do you have a mic (optional): Yes.

Your characters name: 'Stone' Ashford

List all the names of the characters that you use (Foundation, Civillian, e.t.c.):
Foundation I use 'Stone' Ashford, CI I use 'Brick' Ashton. Civi I use Sir Stone.

Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications:
Yes

Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why (type /warnings in-game):
One warning back in May 2023 for RDM | FailRP

How many hours can you be on everyday:
Around 6-7 on a weekday, maybe 8-10 on weekends depending if I have basketball game.

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
Yea, I have been an EC/GM in 3 servers over the span of around 2.5 years.

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others?:
I am a Mapper ( not for the server but in general), so I can definitely create map change events. I am also good at creating dupes. I have done large scale events like an IKEA event, and etc. So those are my 2 strong suits.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
Due to a continued failure to complete a routine maintenance check on the Checkpoint Charlie door, Engineers of the site must work together to fix the malfunctioning door. It's experiencing an error within its keypad system that hasn't occured before. They must use their brains to get it working again.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
UNGOC deploys a field team with portable scanners to investigate a suspected anomaly site. Upon arrival, the scanners detect unusual activity, they secure the area and report status on the anomaly site. They find a glass sphere emitting energy bursts and must contain it how they see fit.

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:|
Whilst patrolling the surface, the UNGOC runs into a strange field. This field causing drowsiness, confusion, and slowness. Their job during this event is to find the origin of this field, contain it, and report status. I like it to be sort of flexible, so I will work with how they contain it.

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
Chaos Insurgency operatives are attempting to steal a dangerous artifact or experimental material from a neutral location in the forest. This artifact contains information on SCPs, and is useful to the Insurgents. They must get their way through surface unsuspiciously, get the artifact, and return to base.

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
A previously stable and normal device in the lab begins temporarily freezing small pockets of time in its area. Objects, lights, and even props may pause while in motion, causing visual breakage. Anyone entering the area notice the time pockets shift that are unpredictable.. Research must disable this device efficiently.

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
Teams are sent to a collapsed high-rise building which is marked as holding a hazardous anomaly. The building is full of debris, such as roofs caved in, walls crumbling, floors being unstable, it becomes difficult for them to move through.

Inside, former personnel exposed to radiation have turned into zombie like figures. They roam the floors and attack anything that moves. The deployed teams consisting of CI, Foundation, and UNGOC must move through, clearing debris strategically and efficiently to move up the floors.

At the top floors, the anomaly is found: a clear container with a gaseous substance . It gives off a faint radiation and makes the area feel slightlyoff. Just as teams start to investigate, a squad of an unknown faction (played by ECs) operatives in hazardous suits shows up, trying to grab the anomaly. Teams must fight them off while keeping the container safe.

The goal is simple: get the anomaly out of the building, and begin research on it. All 3 sides must research together

Also I'd like to add another one. I was thinking an SCP-3008 map change event.

On surface, a strange IKEA appears out of nowhere. Once someone finds it, reports will be made. If you enter, you aren't getting back out. Lights are on, furniture everywhere, they've gotta build their fortresses before night falls.

Upon having a good amount of people in, I would shut off the lights suddenly. They're goal is to defeat the IKEA workers (unfortunately gotta have them be zombies) and fight off waves whilst getting clues to exit the IKEA.

The farther they get, the more difficult it gets. They have to move furniture, destroy rubble, and find papers to get out.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible. :
Lack of player choices is definitely one of them. For example, if you are doing a event where a random mysterious guy comes into the site and runs around, and its just a set list of events that happen during the mini-event, then people wont enjoy it. When they feel like they don't have any say in what happens during the event, people will get upset, and I know that from personal experience.

Overcomplication is definitely another one too. If you have too many props, making things too confusing, causing too much chaos during an event, people will turn their backs to it and quit playing the event. Although players love a detailed and fun event, if it's just too much, and they feel as if they are just going through an Einstein puzzle, they'll just want to leave too.

Poor pacing is one that happens A TON. Events that drag on for too long with no true purpose just cause people to get annoyed and not want to play. Nobody wants to play an event that has no true purpose for an hour and a half that is getting dragged.

Unclear communication is the last one I'd like to point out. If the players do not know what they're doing, they aren't going to be able to participate. It just causes confusion, and people will leave. Its necessary to ensure that you communicate with the players how each thing is supposed to be done.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?: Well, there are many things I wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster.

First off, I want to make roleplay more enjoyable for those who play on the server. Many people, new or not, are used to playing combat servers. But I believe that RP can be better than combat. I just wish to spread roleplay across the server more. I do see more people trying to get engaged in roleplay which makes me glad, but I think by becoming a GM, I can make more people WANT to roleplay within the server.

Second thing, I want to get to know more people in general. It may sound a bit strange, but if you think about it, becoming an EC means you interact with all 3 (maybe 4 if you include Civis) factions. You gotta get to know everyone, help eachother out, etc. I think becoming an EC is one of the best ways to do this as I sort of HAVE to engage with a bunch of people. I just think it'll help me interact and learn about more people within the server.

My third thing I'd like to achieve by becoming an EC is having CI, Foundation, and UNGOC interact more. They are way too separated for my liking. Having these factions work together for a common goal would be an amazing event I would like to potentially do.

My fourth achievement, I want more D-Class variety. I want them to feel like they have a purpose in the facility, not just sitting around and being subjects for XP and dying. I mean setting up boxing rings for them to fight, smuggling events, etc. I just wish for the Class-D to have more events to join in on, since they are often excluded from events.

My 5th and final achievement, bringing out lesser used departments into events. Involve the engineers maybe, the chefs, maybe even IT. They need some sort of interaction more often. I want to make sure every last job on this server has an event they can join in on every once in a while. I mainly want variety in the events and inclusiveness.

Overall, I just want to be able to provide more RP to those who wish for an RP experience.

Please give all the feedback in the world :)

I like where you are going at with the application but 6 total days on the server is not the greatest.
