Please give some lore about your Director of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Tad as a child was born into the foundation. He was born into the life of medical his mom being a member of the xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx council but he was given a cover story from birth and told his mom was the Director of Medicine. He did not see his mother or father very often but grew up on site due to his mothers duties. A lot of his earliest memories are in the medical department shadowing SR doctors and learning the in and outs of the department. Due to a breach of SCP-xxx his mother was moved to site-xxx and his father was heavily injured and due to the nuking of site-xxx tad and his father were both moved to site-65. Soon after his arrival he was given amnestics at the request of his parents and fed a cover story about his mom being a consultant reassigned to another site and told his father was KIA as an E-11. He was soon accepted as a trainee on site at the age of 13. With his in-depth medical knowledge learned over his entire lifetime he quickly climbed the ranks to consultant. While digging through documents to study the effects of amnestics he found a record of himself getting doused with class E in a file hidden deep in Sipnet. The document expunged any info on his mother but gave insight into the true nature of his father. He learned through an error in redacting his father was a cover story but not who his true father is just that he was on sire-65 at the same time as him. He gained determination to climb the ranks to learn his fathers true nature with or without clearance to do so. He threw himself into his work in medicine focusing on work with anomalies trying to remember what he forgot somehow.
His promotion.
Tad was working late one night categorizing documents he had no interest in when there was a knock on his door. Before he could walk over to open the door O-1 punched in the code and opened the door to his office.
???: tad, site administration wants to talk to you.
Reluctantly following running through every possibility in his head he walked not knowing if he was going to be shot or given a medal or amnesticated. He was led into the SAs office and sat across from someone high rank whose name escaped him.
SA: tad ive heard a lot about you. A lot of things that we like.
Tad: good to hear hopefully some of it is true
*an awkward chuckle is heard from tad*
SA: Let's hope.
*the Site manager slides a document and keycard to tad*
SA: we expect big things from you tad. Don't disappoint, and don't go sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.
*tad looks in awe at the document and keycard picking it up and feeling the weight in his hand, he flips it over a few times*
Tad: I Ill do my best sir.
SA: good you are dismissed. You new office’s code is XXXXX
Tad: thank you sir.
*tad exits the office and sits in a chair in the hallway. He sits looking at his new keycard then slides it in his pocket and starts walking to his new office.*

Why are you applying for the Director of Medicine?
- I think a few things can sum up why I want to fill the role of DoM. I want to like all consultants and DoMs to make medical RP more than just left clicking. I RP a lot and I can admit it's not always perfect. I want to foster that sense of learning . I don't want people to feel like they have to get it right the first time around. I want medical to feel like a journey like it did for me. As I have done my duties I have had to do a few surgeries and psych evals and let me tell you some of them went bad and some of them I was a little goofy to make medical feel more fun. I want to foster a sense of learning and comradery to make it feel like we are all working together to keep people safe. As I see it, medical fosters this among its CL3+ personnel and I want the lower ranks to feel like they are being helped by the higher ranks.
- Secondly, I want to repay the kindness given to me by this department 10x. Through working in medical and on my path to consultant I was given so many awesome opportunities and made a lot of good friends. I want to be able to repay that to the people that helped me get to the point where I can even think about applying for DoM and I want everyone who may want to work to consultant, or DoM, or even just combat medic to know that I am in their corner and I will help them every step of the way the way people did for me. With all the grace I was given by SA and medical itself at the start of my term while I was still learning and made my mistakes I want to be able to pay that back
- On my third point, I also want to bring some fun back to medical. I see a lot of people sitting at the front desk to get more exp and while that can be fun to do. I want our more senior doctors and other members of medical staff to go out of the way to do surgeries or psych evals not because they need to do it for consultants but because that is the core of medical RP. While those procedures are very RP heavy and serious there can be fun in it. I once was a SR doctor doing his first psych eval and I was lost while doing it and I don't want someone else to do that. I think I have some ideas that can make heavy medical RP more inclusive and fun for the people that want to do it.
What makes you suitable for Director of Medicine?:
- From my start on the server I've been involved with medical. As you can see In my total time I've spent 21 days on the server. I could say at least 16 days of that is on a combination of combat medic and when I got it consultant. From the time I started committing myself to medical I have been extremely active within it. This started with combat medic gameplay. I was a combat medic before I had HWL or RCL. I was healing people on SR doctor before I was able to put on a suit of gard gear. The only reason I touched combative roles at first was to join G-1 because of the 25 combat levels I needed and I did it on combat medic in Dblock. Soon after I joined G-1 and went back to SR doctor and then climbed to consultant. I only recently truly started trying out combative rolls outside of combat medic. I wont go into that as my Nu-7 endeavors wont affect my DoM activities. However I will say in joining Nu-7 my time on consultant barley dropped if at all.
- On a separate topic I have always had Ideas for projects I haven't been able to live up to due to lack of access or resources. This started as a SR doctor on my way to consultant trying to stand out and be different. This has developed as a consultant to running multiple self run projects with the RSD department and within medical. I currently work as a co lead within anomaly spec to let SR doctors do more than just man the desk and I want to push more things like that as a director. I believe I have ideas that with the resources of DoM could push these ideas to new highs within medical and the foundation. All of these I believe plays into the fact I am suitable to be a DoM as I think I can bring new ideas to medical. To expand on this if I were to get DoM I would want to work to get a mentorship program in place including SR doctors and consultants. While frankly I don't have all the nuances worked out I think it would allow medical to foster that comradery I stive for within it along with allowing people to be less confused when they first get a medical license. Frankly most people working within medical don't know where to get half the drugs for a surgery. Me included for my first few and I want to fix that and I think by letting some lower levels shadow people who know what they are doing it could help.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Medicine in RP?:
- Leading the medical department and its consultants.
- Attending CL4 meetings as medicals representative.
- Being a beacon of what you can do within medical.
- Updating and making documents for the medical department.
- Assisting consultants on projects.
- Giving and removing medical license.
- Ensure all foundation personnel are healthy.
- Training new consultants.
- Making sure all medical staff are following the CoC and CoE.
- making sure everyone know how to do their job.
