What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
O5-4. I've been a part of the server for over a year now. While O5 wasn't my original goal its the goal I have found set for myself now. I've been Site Director for almost 8 months at this point and while I love the position, it is time to give somebody else a turn. I enjoy the RP that can be created from the position. You can truly do whatever you want. If I want to be some crazy paranoid man I could be, or I could be the king of a fallen nation, or I could be a nobody simply picked as an O5 for a grounded perspective. Overall I feel that the council is the next step on my path on the server.

What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I believe that I am the best candidate for the position for a few reasons. First off as Site Director my job is the closest to the job of a council member than anyone else. I oversee the big picture of the site, manage the department leaders, give out projects to different departments, and lead the administrative backbone of the foundation. All of these are jobs that the council also do. I am the longest standing Site Director on the US server so far by quite a large margin. I have in that time issued many projects to Site Admin and many of the different departments. Most have worked out quite well, others not so much, but I believe they have all had mostly positive outcomes. With Site Admin I've given out 6 different Site Director orders for various things. Rp creation, issuing projects, and doing audits have all been subjects of orders. I also issued the admittedly controversial Project Transfer in the early days of my Site Director career but even that was successful getting a majority of documents in game.
As an SGM I am in a unique position to create a large variety of RP scenarios. Whatever I can think to do and actually make happen is my limit. Any special projects that I may give out or approve I can also support in a more direct sense with my GM powers. If there is a mission I want to do that is on a special map I can utilize the event server for it and have it all go (hopefully) smoothly. Overall I believe that my unique positions of Site Director and SGM as well as my experience being on the server for over a year and as SD for over half of that makes me the best candidate for the position.

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
The Council's responsibilities in RP are wildly different depending on who you ask. Overall the core responsibilities boil down to a few different things. First off is ensuring the big picture of the site runs smoothly. They watch over everything and fix any major issues and throw any minor issues to the relevant parties. Second off is the issuing of projects. Council members are Council members because they are visionaries. They are the people that see the way that the foundation should move and steer it onto that path. Projects are a major way that is accomplished. Third is to be the enigmatic figure in the background of things. Council members shouldn't be at the forefront publicly championing a cause, they should be manipulating things from the shadows to go the way they want it to, and if things do need to go loud that's what Alpha-1 is for. They should be using A-1 and Assistants as their eyes, ears, and hands around site. They shouldn't be spotted, just a feeling that someone is watching you but you don't know from where.

The council deals with the applications for Site Director, Director of Research, and Overseer Assistants and directly chooses the Alpha-1 Commander. Besides applications they also watch over all the departments on site, work with other RP leaders, IE Site Admin, Ethics, Department Leaders, GOI leaders, to create interesting RP for the player base, and maintain/update the CoC.
