Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
John 'Smoke' has always enjoyed being in the thick of things. He served in the military before joining the SCP Foundation, where he became accustomed to handling strange and risky situations. In fact, that is how the Foundation initially became aware of him. John first started in Nu-7 where his strengths really started to show. John had spent a couple months there before he then got pulled to O-1 due to his strengths and what he’s shown in his abilities to carry himself around his peers. He was with O-1 for 2 months before he had to resign and take care of his family back home off of site. John ‘Smoke’ eventually made his way back to the Foundation because of his skill set. His ability to remain composed under pressure led those in External Affairs to believe he would be a valuable addition to their team. He moved to the Department of External Affairs at that point. In addition to serving on the front lines, he now collaborates with other groups, speaks with local authorities, and assists in handling issues involving the general public, the unusual, and possible info-breaches. John 'Smoke' now works as a Special Agent in DEA for the Foundation, furthermore he aspires to become an Ethics Committee Assistant. He guides staff in understanding the delicate line between right and wrong. True honesty, in his opinion, is about acknowledging when and how to maintain moral values under stress instead of about blindly following orders. He maintains a strong commitment to guidance, department unity, as well as making sure that the Foundation's highest ethical standards are reflected in both staff and site operations.

What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- I always look forward to the various roleplaying opportunities that the Ethics Committee Assistant position offers. I maintain my composure, feelings for others, and maturity even when under pressure. I always enjoy assisting others with their problems, giving assistance, or responding to their concerns. I am educated on the Code of Ethics and how it needs to be enforced due to my work as an DEA Special Agent, O-1 SGT, and E-11 CSG. I have faith in my capacity to resolve disputes in a fair and impartial manner that benefits all parties involved.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- Following orders given by the Ethics Committee
- Appearing on behalf of the Ethics Committee
- Making sure the COE is being followed
- Authorize AA and KOS past airlock
- Sign D-Class work permits
- Approve/Deny Research tests
- Collaborate with other departments
