Discord name: zimbel.
For how long have you played on CG SCP: I first joined roughly a year ago but started playing actively again 8 months ago.
Age: 22
In what country are you located?: Germany
Time zone: CET
Character name(s): Luigi Fishford
Civilian name: Waluigi Fishford
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): United Kingdom
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- I hold CI-C Brigade Commander as well as DEA, ISD and Combat Medic whitelists. In the past I've held Omega-1 CPL, Nu7 lcpl, GSD Seargent and Senior Agent.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- I have 4 warnings. Two of them are for Fail-RP, while one is for NLR and the other for RDM. The most recent warn I have received was on the 23, August 2024.
Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?:
- I'm applying for the role of Consultant because I would like to continue the current level of roleplay on the next level. It's also been a lot of fun helping trainees and showing them some of the things that the medical team does that they don't usually get to see very often, such as surgery or similar procedures. I would also love to be able to help other senior doctors experience the same level of roleplay that I have enjoyed under the current leadership, and I believe that I would be capable of providing this.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- I have a lot of medical experience, both on the server and outside of Gmod, as I work as an emergency paramedic in real life. This means that some of the surgeries I have performed on CN were almost identical to surgeries I have conducted in real life, except I was less stressed. I also love working with people to the point that helping them was the reason I started working as an emergency paramedic in the first place.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- I will explain the procedure for a simple blood donation. Before we start, I will give a lecture to the personnel on what I am going to do and how I am going to do it. I also ask them to sign a waiver to confirm their willingness to participate. I then start the procedure by carrying out a general health check on the blood donor to see if they are eligible to donate blood that day. They will then have their iron levels checked to ensure that the donation can proceed without risk. I then disinfect the area of the arm from which the blood will be drawn, and inform the patient that they will feel a slight poke in that area. Once this is done, I will take a sample of 200–450 ml of blood, depending on the results of the physical check-up. Once everything is complete, I will disinfect the area from which the blood was drawn once more and bandage it up. Afterwards, I advise the person to eat and drink something to support their recovery and ensure they feel well. Finally, I will pay them for the donated blood and take it to the chemical vault for safe storage.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- Consultants are responsible for lecturing all medical employees and teaching them how to carry out their duties. They assist the directors in managing the department, including conducting medical licence and combat medic tryouts. They are also responsible for disciplining medical personnel who neglect their duties or are simply minging about. Aditionally consultants handle cases that require more restricted knowledge such as check ups on higher ranking members of the Foundation and even some projects of theirs that would require the aid of the medical department.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Luigi Fishford is a former German emergency paramedic who truly enjoyed helping people with their injuries. He was also highly skilled in emergency surgery, as he had proven to his superiors time and time again. After performing surgery on someone, he was introduced to a Site-65 member while working on a joint national project in Canada. He was then offered a job at Site-65, which he accepted in order to be able to specialise further into surgery as he wasn't eligible for in germany for having grades unbefitting of someone who wanted to study medicine. This meant that he was finally given the oppertunity to do what he always wanted to do, helping people in siutations in which they needed it the most.
