I have been a senior agent for a little over a month, last being promoted 23/09/2023 from Agent to Senior Agent. Since then I have easy amassed a total playtime of 80+ hours, assisting in raids, operations, leading negotiations and successful interrogations.
Why are you applying for Special Agent?
There are several factors that have lead to me putting in an application for the rank of Special Agent in the Department of External Affairs, some of them being the following:
One of the main factors I am applying for the position is my inherent want to lead the department and be a rolemodel for new agents and senior agents, as well as being someone that people can come to for help. I have a few friends already inside the Department and I feel like this role will allow me to assist them in running the department and ensuring its success.
Another one is I am simply passionate about the DEA, I truly enjoy the roleplay scenarios it brings and it is my favourite time on the server if I'm being completely honest. It allows for you to create and lead roleplay experiences with other GOIs and shape how the Foundation interacts with them as a whole.
Lastly, I wish to take on more responsibilities in the DEA, leading induction trainings to allow for more people to experience the roleplay this section of the server has to offer, whilst working with DEA management on coming up with ideas for changes to overall better the regiment and improve roleplay. I feel like if I were to be promoted to special agent, I would be able to contribute much more than if I were a Senior Agent.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
What makes me suitable for a Special Agent is quite simple really, I am a huge team player and I believe I am very good at leading. These two skills alone are vital for the DEA to function correctly and prove themselves to be the best. Furthermore another thing that makes me suitable is holding previous experience as a member of CL4 DEA. I am quite active already on the server as a Senior Agent, so I think that I will be useful to the DEA as an active member of CL4 who is able to be there for Senior Agents and Agents during early morning hours as well as peak times.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I have written a vast amount of documents during my time in the server, many of them being as an Ethics Committee Assistant, if I were to estimate it would be around 20+. The main thing to me which makes a document good is having a good format and structure, having a front page, index, summary etc. Whilst also ensuring that spelling, punction and grammar are respected.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
In roleplay a Special Agent has responsibilities such as:
Assisting Agency Managers and Department Directors with their duties and ensuring that their jobs run smoothly as they have many things they have to do to ensure that the Department runs correctly. Another one is dealing with Groups of Interest on the surface such as UNGOC, CI, MC&D and other ones that may pop up for Events. Lastly is acting as a liaison between departments and organising cross trainings to ensure relations are good and that we can work together
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Graduated University Completed a Masters programme in Criminology in the University of London, London, England, at 26 years old.
- 14 years of police service, 7 served in CTSFO. After the 7 years of frontline policing & AFO squad, Jerome was offered a position in a CTSFO squad after showing exemplary work in an operation his AFO team was undergoing, he took the offer hastily and got straight to training.
- Recruited into an aptitude scheme in Canada Shortly after finishing his 14th year of service. Jerome decided to take a aptitude scheme for the Canadian Armed Forces, upon completion and processing, his results, paired with his skills, landed him a spot in the JTF-2 selection and trainning programme. Passed with flying colors.
- 4 years as a field operative for a classified organisation During JTF-2 service, Jerome was deployed to the Saskatchewan region, unknowing of the existance of the SCP Foundations' presence there, to deal with an alleged group of insurgents. His squad deployed to a region near the town of pinewood, roughly 63km northwest of Pinewood, CAF Command reported that insurgents were amassing weapons and explosives nearby.
