Denied Heavy GSD unit

For as long as I've been in the GSD I feel like its one of the weaker departments saved only by its size. Something I've been thinking about for a while is a GSD juggernaut I'm sure its been thrown out there a few times but I'm sure it would improve GSD a lot. So I'm proposing a rough draft of what it could be.

150 Health and armor. for weapons: M249 para, Super Nova, and the USP and the normal GSD loadout.
Where and when would it be used? A heavy D class raid like every D class has an Assault Rifle, 3 or more breached SCPs, A raid of 8 or more GOI members, or during an 008 breach.

Level Requirements: 20 in combat, D-class, and Research.

This is a rough draft and hypothesis if you have suggestions share them.

Never happening. This will be used to combat raids and d class already are at a disadvantage even in riots since 912 exist. Riots aren't the problem, the problem with gsd is that its just standing around simulator, it has little rp potential due to its nature

We already have a heavy GSD unit in the form of Security Containment Units - who have LMGs.

How would this be different than Security Containment Unit other than the 50 extra Health and Armour?
They already deal with or can deal with everything you mentioned.

Will be honest this won’t happen.

That would be rather unbalanced and to be quite frank Gensec doesn’t need any additions made as currently they have the most versatile kits to counter almost everything.

You also have to remember even if a d class has assault rifles they still wouldn’t require much work to take care of, it’s all about team coordination and strategies.

you could just rename SCU’s to Heavy Response Units or something and do a few policy changes

This solves a problem that doesnt exist.

Need to combat a raid? From GENSEC, SCU, and possibly SRU.
Want to fight breaches? SCU.
You might wonder why they dont get more, but that is not what they are designed to do. And ik its General Security but still, there are 2 regiments to combat those issues, and you can still participate as like an Officer if they do not need help at D-block. This can be further proven by the rule change for Captains tear gas.

Want to fight Class-D? Unless its lowpop and the Class-D have a 2:1 advantage you can hold D-block even if they have ARs.
But what if there is a raid in D-block? Tear gas. Or just...coordination. Its not hard.

everytime someone does a small event where they give class-d assault rifles in showers i cherish the fact i always keep a cyanogen nade on me

throw one of those in there, then just hold the exit out of showers with an RPK and spray
