What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
Passion
During the majority of my time on the server, I have seen the ups and downs of the ethics committee and i have even been apart of the committe as an ECA for a significant amount of time where i have seen the Committee thrive as a whole entity who aimed to forward the same common goal, this was done by the guidance of great ECMs and a great ECC. Since my arrival back in site over a month ago, after being on holiday for some time, i have not seen the committee perform as it has in the past. This is something that i hate to see after all that has been put in to make the Committee what it is today, and with that, I have the passion to try and help make the Committee perform as it did before and as it can still can perform in this current time.
Experience
I have been in various roles during my tenure on site-65, 7 Cl4 roles in total with 2 being senior Cl4(COS & SA), during this time i have been able to develop a variety of skills from properly ensuring that your staff are equipped with the relevant information for their duties to be performed fully and to the expected standard, to communicating with other departments properly on various matter, to even leading projects with multiple people involved with various roles.
Creativity
In the past, I have made various creative RP scenarios within my various roles, For Example as an ECA i created two projects for ECAs to partake in, this was a first of its kind when i published both projects and these projects really aimed to help the ECAs of that time perform to the highest of their Capabilities, with the fact that not as many orders were being published due to the current standings of the ECMs at that time. More Recently i have been doing work as RSD, and my most notable projects that i have done or hope to do can be found bellow.
SCP-076 X SCP-330 CT
This is a project that aims to see whether or not SCP-330 can affect animate humanoid anomalies as it does to regular humans. The way we would be recording the effect of SCP-330 on 076 was mainly through a Cap that records brain wave activity, however before the main cross-test can occur, I have been calibrarting the cap to ensure that the brain activity is properly recorded, this was done through firstly pefroming a set of tests where D-class personnel ate SCP-330-1, afterwards depending on the signal strength calibrations would be made to hopefully remove any errors in the recording of the brain activity. Secondly, I interviewed 073 with the cap on to see how brain activity was being recorded when the subject was an anomalous humanoid being like 073, during the interview, when I asked questions which aimed to cause him to feel specific emotions. This was successful and allowed for the majority of errors to be removed, lastly, i am performing a similar interview on 076 to see whether or not it is fully ready for practical use in my cross-test.
SCP VS D-class intelligence test
During one night on site, I performed a series of tests with a few Jrs and regular Researchers where our aim was to see who was smarter, the majority of animate SCPS in LCZ or D-class personnel. This was done through asking them both a series of questions which aimed to test different skills, such as maths, before playing a game of Simon Says with all participating subjects. The SCPs were deemed the smartest.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
| Being a representative of the Ethics Committee | This is when ECMs can and cannot be present. This means that you must be presentable and know how what you are talking about so that you can fully to the best of your ability represent The Committee whilst reporting to them on what has happened in the daily proceedings of the site. |
| Authorising AA | AA is authorized during code 5 emergency status' if there are 2 or more Keter/Euclid SCPs breached. This equipment is very helpful in decreasing the time taken for E-11 and other MTF forces to contain these SCPs. This should only be done by an ECA when no members of SA or SC are available. |
| Creating and Leading RP as a CL4 member | As a Cl4 member of this site you must make RP which reflects on your position this means that you must show what you have to bring to the site but also what The Committee does this is one of the most important points to keep RP fun and welcoming. |
| Utilizing O-1 | This allows for ECAs to utilize a key asset available to the committee so that they complete their order in a quick safe and efficient way that will not put your life in danger. |
| Being the eyes and ears of the committee | As stated already when on-site you are representing the committee and relaying back to them on what happens so that they can keep in touch about daily events on the site. |
| Completing order set by the Committee | These orders can be a range of things one being writing personnel files for cl4 personnel. These orders are set by the Ethics Committe Members in the hope that they will be completed efficiently and with the utmost care. |
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
I will be including the lore for all my main characters as they are all a part of a storyline, as Harvey, my first character, had Elias, my main character, as his personal assistant during his time at Site-120. Elias Graysphire grew up in Germany to both English parents who were a part of the Foundation and located nearby. Elias’ parents were both Executive researchers who worked effortlessly within the foundation during their time working as Researchers. His father worked mainly on Thaumatology and sarkics, whilst his mother focused on biological threats.
After Elias was born, his mother decided to retire from the foundation and take on the duty of being the primary carer for her son. Whilst his father continued his work, and was soon after promoted to Director of Research at Site 54.
During his childhood, he was a bright child who always overachieved when given a challenge. When Elias was 6, he decided to take up go-karting, which he continued to do until the age of 14 after one season in formula 4, due to wanting to pursue his academics as he believed that he was destined to do more than driving during his life.
Elias decided to go to University and study Chemistry at Munich University. He then worked on chemical research for a few years before deciding to follow in his parents' footsteps. During his time in Chemical research, Elias joined Shell and worked on research focused on fuel forms and environmentally friendly alternatives for various fields, including general-use fuels for regular cars.
He joined the foundation with a letter of recommendation from his father. He was able to line up a job as an Assistant for the Site Director of Site 120 Harvey Bridger. He stayed in this role for 2 years before deciding to move to a new site, whilst also pursuing the career that his parents had. He became a Researcher in Site 65 and, since then, has worked on expanding his work. During this time, he has joined a classified project which is run by Executive Researcher Ella Knight.
Whilst this was happening, his younger brother Ronan had already been in the foundation since the age of 22, where he flew up the ranks and is currently an ECA who was for a moment assigned at Site-65; however, he is currently assigned to Site-54.
By this point, his parents had both passed, first his mother and then his father; they left a legacy that pushed Elias to the limit at every occasion to be just like them. However, during this time, his brother Ronan had also been pushing him to follow his route by joining the Ethics committee which he deciding on following…
