How long have you been a Senior Agent for?

3 months

Why are you applying for Special Agent?
I’m applying for Special Agent because I want to take a more active role in high-stakes negotiations, diplomacy, and intelligence work. DEA is often the face of the Foundation to outside factions, and I want to ensure that our negotiations are handled with professionalism, compliance to treaties, and strategic foresight.
This position would allow me to lead interactions with CI and UNGOC under the Surface Treaty, manage hostage situations using the Hostage Negotiation Protocol, and coordinate chemical trades in accordance with the Sampling Negotiations Treaty. I also want to help strengthen the quality of RP across the server by creating treaty-compliant, immersive scenarios that involve more than just combat — encouraging moral choices, faction politics, and interdepartmental cooperation.

What makes you suitable for Special Agent?
Treaty & Policy Expertise: I have detailed knowledge of the Interrogation & Negotiation Handbook, Hostage Negotiation Pricing, Surface Treaty, Sampling Negotiations Treaty, and the UNGOC–Foundation Treaty, ensuring all operations remain compliant.

Multi-Faction Experience: Having served in CI command, ISD, DEA, and multiple MTF regiments, I understand the operational mindset of both allies and adversaries. This insight allows me to craft negotiations that not only achieve the Foundation’s objectives but also create a positive and engaging RP experience for all involved. By being empathetic to the perspectives and goals of other factions, I can adapt my approach to build tension, cooperation, or rivalry in a way that enhances the overall narrative for everyone in the scenario.

Calm Under Pressure: Hostage exchanges, chemical trades, and joint operations require quick thinking and a steady hand. I excel in high-pressure situations where the stakes are high and mistakes carry real consequences. My priority is not only to achieve the Foundation’s objectives, but to ensure every participant walks away having enjoyed the RP experience fostering a sense of engagement, tension, and collaboration that keeps the scenario memorable for everyone involved.

RP Focused: I create immersive RP opportunities that go beyond “basic trades,” making sure every interaction adds to the ongoing story of the server

How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?
I have written multiple operational and RP documents, including after-action reports, negotiation logs, and intelligence briefings. A good document should:
Be clear and concise so all readers can quickly understand the facts.

Include accurate, verified information to avoid misunderstandings.

Be relevant to operational needs.

Be well-organised with headings, timestamps, and clear separation between fact and analysis.

What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?
Lead and oversee negotiations in hostage situations, trades, and joint operations.

Conduct and manage interrogations in line with DEA interrogation procedures.

Act as the primary liaison to external factions during peacetime and conflict, ensuring treaty compliance.

Coordinate chemical trade deals in accordance with the Sampling Negotiations Treaty.

Maintain accurate records of negotiations, trades, and agreements.

Support DEA leadership in diplomacy, intelligence gathering, and operational planning.

Lore & Storylines for Special Agent Elliot “Specter” Ward
Background:

Elliot Ward began in Internal Security, working undercover in CI territory before returning to the Foundation with valuable intelligence. Recognised for his talent in information gathering and negotiation, he was recruited into the DEA, quickly proving his worth in surface diplomacy and treaty enforcement. Known as “Specter” for his ability to appear, negotiate, and vanish without leaving a trace, Elliot is trusted to manage the Foundation’s most sensitive diplomatic interactions.
Possible Storylines:
The Pinewood Standoff – Elliot mediates a tense hostage exchange with CI at the Pinewood FOB, balancing Surface Treaty rules while uncovering a side plot involving a stolen SCP sample.

Chemical Chess – Negotiates a high-value trade of chemical agents under the Sampling Negotiations Treaty to secure the release of a Foundation scientist, while hiding the fact that the scientist holds intel on an ongoing GOC operation.

Treaty on the Brink – Investigates a violation of the UNGOC–Foundation Treaty after a GOC officer is found inside Site-65 without clearance, leading to a diplomatic showdown.

Ghost Protocol – Orchestrates a fake ransom scenario to lure CI into revealing the location of a hidden forward base, using a controlled leak of “captured” DEA intel.

Miscreant Merchants – During a surface trade, an MC&D representative began loudly flaunting anomalous contraband in front of civilians to convince them they were Gods attempting to make their sale price higher.
