It is just book which contains list of legendary, mythical or folklore creatures and their known behaviour, strength and weaknesses. basically it is scp data base but inform of the book and focuses on specific type of creatures.

Background:
Beer comes from a family in eastern Europe who's craft was Hunting and capturing Monsters. During 1960's family reached agreement with SCP foundation to give their knowledge on anomalous creatures and providing operatives for Foundation in exchange for them being allowed to train their operatives and keep their practise of hunting monsters. Beer one of the operatives who was send to be part of foundation. He was training in capturing anomalous and have extended knowledge of legendary, mythical or folklore SCPs.
Book:
Contains info about SCPs who's origins come from Myths, Legends or Folklore. Basically SCP database but in form of a book
Crossbow:
He was trained in using that but when became foundation operative he decided to use guns due to them being more effective.
Crystals:
they are oberegs from evil spirits.
Geiger counter:
Beer used to go to areas which were radioactive invested to fight monsters. So he keeps it just in case he will have to do it again.
