What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make it so Breaching SCPs (or any other action that would trigger a Hacking alert if hacked by a player) Set the Containment Status on his CCs Box to Breached regardless of the internal 079 "Silent breach" Timer

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Unknown , Couldn't find anything similar using the search function on the forum

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Avoids Unnecessary Confusion
- Stops Players from standing in 079 chambers for the duration of the timer / or trying to RC from the assumption that it could be breached

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Its technically a Nerf to 079
- Dev work

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This is more of a QoL change since most of the times a SCP breaches exct comms are filled with messages like "Check 079"/"Possible 079 Breach"
And avoids the behaviour of Standing in his CC / trying to recontain the SCP "Just in case it is breached"

079 Used to be like this and was RCed almost instantly. WIth the 079 update it takes a long time to get enough level to breach a SCP or do any useful action as 079. If people knew 079 was out instantly it would make 079 almost useless to play as there is no way for 079 to defend itself or stop people from RCing it.

I have a question about the intention behind this suggestion and why it was made.

I don't believe that 079 can reach a high enough level quickly enough to warrant this change. What prompted the suggestion for a nerf to 079? This cheange will retrigger the issues that arose before he was buffed to this system by Ventz.

Other than a player standing still for x amount of minutes , potentially wasting his time, I don't see why this was suggested?!

So 079 is 100% capable of breaching an SCP before the 'silent breach' timer ends
A scp (that is not a silent breach by default ) breaching will 99,99% result in checking his cc to see if he's breached , if the box says he isn't people often either are assuming he's breached and are trying to hack him back or otherwise sitting in his CC for minutes until they are sure if he's breached or not / they start denying that he's breached often arguing with people on comms about it . Both of which are well .... extremely annoying

yes I am aware that the second one is more of a IC issue but they both stem from the same thing so solving one would solve the other

My intention ISNT TO NERF 079, cuz that 'silent breach' timer is his only thing keeping him usable in most scenario's he's breached
I only want to somewhat get rid of that annoying part of RC'ing him

if it would be that much of a nerf for 079 i would propose buffing him some other way like giving him a way to slow the process
him being contained / giving him more powers (by for example making him able to damage the electronic boxes around site allowing him to disable dispensers lights exct)

in all honestly giving 079 the ability to disable dispensers (which are required Step in his RCing process , aka get TE-5's) would be a great way to buff him since only 6 Foundation jobs spawn with Hacking devices all of which are whitelisted (1 E-11 , 1 NU-7 & 3 DEA) SOP really doesnt go into HCZ that often and even more rarely is helping with 079 Rcing
if this suggestion gets denied i will 100% will be making a new suggestion about buffing him in such way
