Why not simply have everyone not in the other section of the raid wait at and hold main gate (or secretly hide in compound) instead? As Alex said, this would certainly be used to allow people to flag on after the fact as gathering when a person flagged on can be annoying if needed to be done...

CI certainly have a far easier time defending their warfunds, their room is so small and harder to guard compared to Foundations "hallway of death" leading to their warfund server.
