I agree. It is a massive room for what it is, more than half of it is just decoration around it. I like the scene setting, After all that's what makes environments feel "real" but that doesn't do much good for a room that is rarely used.
What I'd honestly like to see is the media room being...

I do think each department should have an area. Even ET&S has a small office for them. NU-7 should have an area too.
Although I would like to see the media room stay, I've used it only 3 or so times but it was very useful when I needed it. Its one of those things that it's better...
On US they can if they get a weapons permit for self defense.
Though in general ISD is meant to evacuate non-combatives from combat areas. It's part of their policy and that's a In-Game policy.
I wouldn't mind having help from thaums during combat if they don't get in the way.

I could see the vision for a separate, Support Combative reality bender on the foundations side. But removing Thaumatologist from research goes too far. Some know how to play the role and do it well, letting their abilities enhance tests. Good thaumatologists shouldn't be punished...

CI being able to disrupt operations in a non violent way is something I'd like to see more of. CI feels too raid focused.
This will be annoying, but that's why I like it. A false code 4 causing people to go get scrambles when not needed comes to mind.
It would need to be balanced...
To balance this out, Since it would be OP once unlocked, Add a fishing minigame make it unlockable from that. Require catching 1000 fish, then you get a 1/11000 chance to catch it.

Even more reason to support this. That would be super in-character for SCP-035. Being able to misdirect foundation with false comms would be and is exactly what it would do.

Being able to avoid so many situations by killing yourself is sometimes nonsensical, being able to counter that at a cost could be beneficial.
I do think a antidote should be more expensive/harder to obtain than the lethal chemical that it's curing.

I always found it quite annoying that you needed to put more fluid than required in the injection vial. This would be beneficial to every role that uses the injection gun.
