Didn’t say it was a requirement but experience in a CL4 role helps in preparing you for SA and gives you some credibility/reputation while applying. However you do bring up some excellent points and I wish Nikolai the best in his app going forward!

Zero prior CL4 positions does not bode well for a position such as Site Advisor, which is a senior position. Not to say do not aspire for it, but it'd do you better to try and get some other CL4 position first. Perhaps, Inspector?
