[USA] [Esme Cherokees] O5-4 'The Entropy' Application [attempt 2]

You're not ready for the role, you struggle to create roleplay for others and often will wait for roleplay to come to you then leave the roleplay midway if it's not directly involving you.
Have I not created Roleplay consistently? The only reason I see you are saying this is because I reached out to you regarding being left out of any sort of RP and being placed into only doing administrative work, not to mention the Only RP you "gave me" was threatening to PK me. So yes I believe this is extremely targeted.

Hello, I am replying to this cause I feel like this reply kinda proves Josh’s point. Within a department head position such as Director of Medicine you kinda have to sacrifice some of your own RP for the sake of maintaining the department and ensuring that they are performing good in both doing their job and RP. Pretty much every department is structured in a way were the higher the position the more responsibilities you have to take care of that take you away RP. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be involved in RP as a department head but instead saying the department should also be enjoying RP and not just you and it is your job as the DOM to facilitate the primary RP for your department not SC as listed in the department director guidelines.

Okok, so reword since I worded it poorly sorry sorrys

I definitely do agree that a Director’s responsibility is to facilitate RP for their department, even when that means sacrificing some of their own personal RP. But that IS what I have been doing.

Medical currently has around eight active Consultant projects now, with RP opportunities literally built around the different specialties. I have delegated responsibility of those projects so Consultants and doctors can participate without everything depending on me at all times, but im still here to help facilitate etc also projects, what need be which is why I constantly am writing documents.

A more than significant amount of my own time has instead gone toward administrative or backend work such as the website, decals, documents, applications, and generally maintaining the department.

My comment about being excluded was referring specifically to involvement in larger storylines. I was not saying that Site Command is solely responsible for creating Medical’s RP

I understand that my work may not always be visible from outside the department, but I do just not agree that I have only been prioritizing my own RP. If you have specific examples of me sidelining people, I am willing to hear them and address them, but they need to be put in front of me to be adressed..

There are times where I have left events midway because I had to do IRL things which lead to me having to log early but other than those times I cannot remember a time exactly where I have "left midway" so I would appreciate a example.

EDIT so we both understand what were saying.

I appreciate the feedback really!!.., but I do have to disagree with you id like to challenge this.

I have consistently created RP through Medical’s projects of my own making, many types of SCP evaluations, CROSS department work and projects, events such as Lacuna, and the projects I have created and delegated to my Consultants. A large part of my leadership style has been creating opportunities that other people can continue without needing me to remain at the center of them, but still being able to turn to me for help with! I have always Advocated for my consultants and help them understand and am here for whatever they may need.

As in I HAVE TWO cabinets full mainly of projects for consultants some are also scattered in their office, :))

I have previously raised many concerns about feeling excluded from certain storylines and RP within my own department, but that is honestly separate from whether I create RP for Medical and other players who take interest.

I do not expect other people to just create my RP for me. I Find that very silly and extremely self centered.

Those situratuations I brought up to you were all real.

If there are specific situations where you think I abandoned RP midway or willfully just failed to involve other people, I would genuinely appreciate those examples.

That would give me something specific to explain, or reflect on, or improve instead of arguing over two completely different perceptions!!

Thank you! :3
