Denied Change the New Medical Roles

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would change the newly updated Medical Department roles to the following:
Nurse -> Medical Intern
Physicians Assistant -> Junior Resident
Physician -> Senior Resident
Resident -> Chief Resident
Lead Physician -> Hospitalist or Attending Physician

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not to my knowledge, I'm just making this in reaction to the new changes put out today.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
The foremost benefit is clarity, I think these names are just easier to understand for those outside of the department.
It also provides a clearer line of progression for new doctors.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I think the main negative is that the names were just changed like an hour ago and they would be changed again.
Also while I don't personally think the current names are the best per-se, it's still an update to Medical and I don't want to discourage new changes to Medical. We love you, Content Team.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
While these names aren't 100% accurate to real world structures, they would provide a much clearer sense of hierarchy for anybody who isn't already familiar with it.

Sr. CL4 - Practice Manager

This would help explain why CL2 dont participate in Surgeries, plus the new Sr. CL4 role would be similarly named to DEA while having Real worl corolation with a more administrative role, could be possibly changed to Medical Manager, for consistancy.

i agree, trainee is iconic. definitely wouldn't fight anybody over keeping it as trainee.

I have a very mild issue with the Nurse role. Nurses aren't necessarily the step before becoming a doctor, they serve a completely different complimentary role in a hospital setting focused on continuously monitoring patients and bedside care. While that structure definitely shows a clear hierarchy to those outside of the department, it doesn't really make that much sense to those within it. It's also not outlandish to exclude a junior resident from a surgical operation, as they would normally only be allowed to conduct minor operations under supervision anyways.

I'm definitely not opposed to the idea of a Practice Manager for the new Sr. CL4 role. I don't really know what the US/UK MLT teams intend to do with those roles, so if it's more of a management position then I see no reason to restrict it to a resident title.

But this is also a Garry's Mod server in a fictional universe, so going for the most accurate choice isn't necessarily the best choice. Thank you for contributing to the discussion <3

My only contribution to this as a former consultant, is that Director of Medicine should be changed to Dean of Medicine because it sounds way cooler

Practitioner makes the most sense and Consultant is just to good imo (I also have been consultant for like a collective year so I'd like to keep the name the same.

All other names except leadership I'm fine with changing but I like practitioner and consultant is actually just to iconic.

I also like how the ones that have always been used have a similar naming system to Research making it easy to understand from both departments. It is Junior/Trainee then a rank with no prefixes/suffixes then one with senior in it. It makes it easier for people to understand imo. We are not trying to do full medical RP as it isn't fun.

ALSO having the Leadership names as one word gives it more punch like curator, Practitioner, and Consultant. It makes the roles feel much more important as they don't need to have a prefix

I not the biggest fan of Consultant nor practice manager as both of those two terms can be used way more for different areas than being focused on medicine. Image this: I ask you what you do for work. You say: "Im work as a Dr." Oh okay so 90% of the time I can assume you are working as a medical proffessional aiding ill patients. Now if you say: "I work as a Consultant", Im going to ask: "For which company." The same logic is applied to Practice Manager as that, at least imo, sounds more like a soccer trainer than someone co-leading a medical field. With the prior attempt at changing the job names, I will have to stay that I was almost satisfied. Therefore here are my suggestions for the new potential change.

This is why I would suggest,
Cl1 - Trainee
Cl2 - Nurse
Cl3 - Doctor
Jr. Cl4 - Head Doctor
Sr. Cl4 - Med. Prof.
Sr. Cl4 - Medical Director

This is as dumbed down as possible to comprehend everything while keeping it easy enough to follow and make sense of without loosing the connection to the field. However I will state that in my opinion the order of:

Cl1 - Trainee
Cl2 - Nurse
Cl3 - Attending Resident
Jr. Cl4 - Head Resident
Sr. Cl4 - Chief Resident
Sr. Cl4 - Medical Director

Is equally nomination as my previously listed one. However this is fully my opinion and I do not expect anyone to share it in the slightest, tho I would highly appreciate other peoples opinions.
