Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I am applying for Security Captain because I want to take on more responsibility within the Security Department and help maintain a professional and organized environment. I enjoy leading others, ensuring protocols are followed, and helping newer members improve their skills. I believe a Security Captain should set the standard for discipline, teamwork, and communication.
In addition, I currently serve in the German military, where I have learned the importance of discipline, structure, and following procedures under pressure. My military experience has taught me how to stay strict when necessary, remain calm in stressful situations, and lead by example while working as part of a team. I believe these qualities will allow me to effectively manage security personnel, coordinate responses to incidents, and uphold the standards expected of a Security Captain.
Overall, I am confident that my leadership skills, sense of responsibility, and disciplined mindset make me a strong candidate for the position, and I am committed to helping the Security Department operate efficiently and professionally.

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I believe I am suitable for the Security Captain position because I am responsible, disciplined, and able to remain calm under pressure. I take leadership seriously and understand that a Security Captain is expected to lead by example, enforce regulations fairly, and support both the Security Department and the rest of the Foundation.
My experience serving in the German military has helped me develop a strong sense of discipline, professionalism, and teamwork. I have learned how to follow and enforce procedures, communicate clearly, and remain strict when the situation requires it while still treating others with respect.
This experience has also taught me how to make decisions under pressure and keep situations organized during stressful events.I am also approachable and willing to help train and guide lower-ranking security personnel. I believe good leadership is not only about giving orders but also about mentoring others, maintaining high standards, and ensuring everyone works together effectively. These qualities, combined with my commitment to the role, make me confident that I would be a reliable and effective Security Captain.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
  • Lead and supervise security personnel
  • Maintain order in D-Block
  • Coordinate Security Operations
  • Respond to Major Incidents
  • Enforce discipline within the department

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Security Captain – "Firefly" James

Background

Before becoming Security Captain, "Firefly" James served as an elite Russian special operations soldier, known for his discipline, leadership, and ability to remain calm in the harshest conditions. Throughout his military career, he participated in numerous high-risk missions across remote wilderness and hostile environments, earning the nickname "Firefly" for his habit of always finding a way through darkness and bringing hope to those around him.

His life changed during a classified reconnaissance mission deep within a vast northern forest. The operation ended in disaster after his unit was caught in an unexpected ambush. Separated from his team with no communications, limited supplies, and no hope of immediate rescue, James found himself completely alone.

For 21 days, he survived against overwhelming odds.

He built shelters from fallen trees, gathered food by trapping small animals and foraging edible plants, purified water from streams, treated his own injuries, and navigated using only natural landmarks and the stars. He endured freezing nights, relentless storms, hunger, and isolation without giving up.

When rescue teams finally reached the area three weeks later, they expected to recover the remains of the missing soldiers. Instead, they found James walking toward them under his own power—exhausted, thinner than before, but alive.

The ordeal transformed him. He became more reserved and cautious, valuing preparation over confidence and teamwork over glory. After leaving military service, James accepted a position as Security Captain, dedicating himself to protecting others and ensuring no one under his command would ever be abandoned.

I think you became an SGT at 26th last month. You were active every day you've been able to. Since you're a soldier at the Bundeswehr, I haven't seen you much lately, which is, however, entirely understandable. I think you're a good fit for Captain, all in all.
