[UK] Maxo's ECC Application

- Support
I really like you, especially when you were SA, but overall, I don't believe it's reasonable to make someone ECC who openly admits to being part of the problem that EC is at right now.
I've personally had many issues with Ethics being a massive nepo towards ISD and the people within a certain friend group, and as the Director of DEA, I believe EC as it stands right now have been contributing to a lot of our downsides and overall, I think we've been shot down quite a bit so ISD could fly higher than they already did.

Now, I'm not saying this to spark debate amongst DEA and ISD, so anyone reading this, do not take it that way. DEA and ISD are actively working on getting that good relation back that we had, and I sincerely hope we get it!

You may ask, aren't you a part of the problem?

Yes! Yes I am! I'm not afraid to say that I've been conducting my roleplay in the way in which ethics is currently aligned, which is simply, bordering on the edge of the longest lie being revealed. I do understand this, and I'm working on feedback that has been given to me in a constructive way.

Neutral! While I’ve personally had some grievances with the first couple of interactions I had with you, the urge and drive to change the Committee for the better is definitely there. The recent structural changes were a lovely surprise, which I do respect. Communication is, well… other things take priority, I reckon.

I could imagine you being in that position and continuing to positively change the Committee for the better.

Good luck with the application!

Ethics is in a slump.
As much as I like you Maxo I gotta be very honest.

If you’re currently identifying that Ethics is having issues and going downhill then you and the other ECMs need to sort that out. Taking a step towards ECC won’t help that matter as if you cannot show you are able to fix the issues you mentioned currently as an ECM then how would you be able to sort it as the ECC?

This just all requires the ECMs to sit down, discuss said issues, and attempt to fix those overtime rather than going for a higher position. Sorry man, but I cannot support this at the time being.

the unusual application approach actually interests me quite a bit and presents a new approach that I can actually get behind.

The honesty is refreshing but does present a few concerns however should not disqualify you by any means.

I personally think you’ll be a great ECC, and to comment on why ethics seemingly fell apart, it’s because the committee let it and it seems backbones just ceased existing when Julian got SD.

From an ECA perspective, I do think Maxo is capable of handling the job and all of the responsibilities that come with it. My main concern has been the Ji-Hoon Woo character, who I don't think would be capable IC of taking the responsibilities, but I would love to see Maxo as an ECC with a new character that fits the role better. I don't know whether the recent PK will affect this application, since it still uses Ji-Hoon Woo.

I don't think IC reasons should be a reason to - support

I agree with Cade, fix your mistakes as an ECM and show that you have the ability to do so. You don't need a big Senior CL5 card or someone above you with one to make you work on your issues. Then, like Broda said work through the rest of the committees problems as a group with your other ECMs, this will be a good opportunity to test yourself and get some experience leading the committee then consider applying for the role.

Good luck anyway lad!
