What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the role of Ethics Committee Member. I'm applying because after playing the server for a very long time and mostly sticking to combative roles I'd like to branch out and create RP for people in a different way than I have before. When it come to site command positions I am inclined to apply for ethics because it fits my playstyle and personality the best and would give me the best chance to create and enhance peoples RP experience on the server. I like the role ECMs play on the server as I have spent a large portion of my time on the server around the ethics committee and I feel that I would be able to thrive when creating RP the most as an ECM. I also really enjoy the more public aspect of ECM as I enjoy talking with and helping new players that are passionate about RPing. I also like being able to play a background role when it comes to creating/changing CoE policies that affect the entire site.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe I am the best candidate for ECM due to my experience across multiple leadership roles across the server and my understanding for RP on the server. I have extensive experience leading people both in RP and out of RP in multiple MTFs, mainly my previous role as O-1 MAJ and current role as A-1 MAJ allow me to understand what is expected from a member of site command when it comes to RP and OOC responsibilities. I understand how to roleplay well in combative positions and I have worked closely with both site commands to create and enhance roleplay for my regiments and other regiments/departments across the server. I also have a good understanding on the more OOC responsibilities such as document work and policy making as I have made many policies on a regimental wide scale and maintaining communication with external regiments/departments. Due to my long time and widespread experience on the server I understand how policies such as the CoE/CoC and FLC affect the entire site and the server as a whole and I am able to take steps when making possible changes/edits to not negatively impact the fun and RP potential for everyone throughout the site. As I believe that as an ECM you should always be striving for making RP that everyone can participate in some way and to not limit RP to only those in high clearance positions.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
The responsibilities of ECMs in RP are,
Updating the CoE
Evaluating and ensuring that site personnel are following the CoE
Issuing orders for Omega-1
Existing as a power check for the O5 council
Issuing orders for ECAs
Approving documents that require an ECM
Calling ERT if a breach is out of hand
Nuking site when ERT fails or the site is beyond saving
Working with ISD to ensure the FLC is followed
Being present in Tribunals when necessary
Authorizing AA
Authorizing KOS past airlock
Authorizing work permits
Cooperating with the O5 for the overall benefit of the foundation

The responsibilities of ECMs out of RP are,
Organizing meetings with department/regiment leads to ensure site operations/policy runs effectively

Working with GMs/RP leaders to create RP for the site
