Thought-out most of my whole career within the foundation has mostly been within Internal Security and Internal Affairs dating all the way back to my first ever CL4 with was Internal Affairs Ambassador, which since then I did move around quite a bit from bouncing from General Security Captain to Epsilon-11 LT to various other positions but the most CL4 positions I've held within one department is Internal Security, I've never really had the drive to progress into the department it was always, get appointed Inspector, resign but this time was different, Over two months ago I was appointed to Inspector and later after appointed to the position I now hold as commissioner which I've been holding for two months now, so given that I feel I am now ready to progress to the final position within Internal Security, Director.
And most importantly my plans as Internal Security director is a major focus on Inspectors, Investigators and agents and their performance within the department focusing on primarily Inspectors and Investigators, My current plans as of recent is to implement a new ISD mentoring program to insure the candidates we promote to members of leadership uphold performance standards as of expected of their respective positions. meaning ISD get the training they need to progress within the department and the department's effectiveness and health will improve. At the time of this application I have already started to implement this program as my current position of Manager of Internal Development.
What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
Roleplay
Throughout my time within the foundation a haven't created/lead much large scale RP primarily more smaller ones e.g. Tribunals (Defence and Judge) as Internal Affairs Ambassador and Ethics Committee Assistant , UNGOC sampling tests and also served as a UNGOC Attaché for a length of time, Arrests and internal raids on departments as Internal Security Inspector and Commissioner, I would say when it comes to RP I tend to get involved and usually I would stay away from the creation but as of recent I'm putting more effort into it and this position will give me more opportunity's to do so with the department as a whole.
Knowledge
This also ties in with my experience within different positions across the site, starting with my knowledge of site wide policies due to my experience formally holding Ethics Committee Assistant and currently holding Internal Security Commissioner which these 2 positions work very close with site wide policies e.g. Ethics Committee Assistant needs to sign off and give approval on research tests requiring ethical testing parameters and knowledge of Research policy's is a must have when being an ECA, then Internal Security Inspector and Commissioner works closely with policies like the Zone Jurisdiction Policy and other departmental policies to insure they are being followed.
Experience
As I've stated in the previous section, I have substantial tenure within the Internal Security Department from holding positions dating back to Internal Affairs as ambassador all the way up to Internal Security Commissioner, adding to this one of my main strength is a variety of experience in different areas such as E-11 LT which is a majorly leadership position within a regiment which not only adds to my CL4 experience but also my leadership ability to lead a regiment in times of stress, moving on to another example Ethics committee assistant in this position I had the honour of conducting my first tribunal in the position of a judge accompanied by ex chairman Takeshi Nakumura which went very successful meaning I have some knowledge in this area know and finally the major position in my career which is the current position I hold as commissioner and as of currently my plans are to introduce a mentorship program into ISD which is to continue into the director role if my appointment is successful.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
- Appointment and Management of Inspectors/Commissioners.
- Overseeing Internal Units e.g. Internal Development.
- Maintenance of Departmental Policies.
- Maintenance of Departmental Rosters and Documentation.
- Maintaining Inter-Departmental relations.
- Liaise with Site Administration on departmental progress in monthly reports.
- Discuss and make improvements based on Site Administration discussions and feedback.
- Upholding conduct and performance standards.
- Review IC documents from personnel about the Department (eg. Arrest Reports, Incident reports)
- Engage with the entire Department in pinpointing various issues that affect the overall health of the Department.
