What will you do to stop this from happening again: If I see a player that is about to break the server rules himself, tell him what the consequences of what he is doing would be, and try to prevent him from doing X thing.

Why should you be unbanned: I know I'm somewhat in the wrong, for handing him the cl4 hostage whilst inside the CC. Both of us had told the player, both in TS & in game that what he is trying to do, will most likely get him banned. Neither of the CI had hacked a 008 door, picked up a syringe, or held a syringe. I get that the rules that are stated, don't directly effect anything what we did. We mostly were punished under the tense of us encouraging/enabling this player to break server rules, which I did in a way enable him by handing over a hostage to the MC&D. However we did make him aware it was against the rules, or at least attempted too. I am unsure if he was actually listening when we told him several times both in game and OOC (TS).

I was also told that we were helping him to get samples for our own benefit, but I never asked for samples. The only conversation I had even relating to samples was me telling him that the 3L limit comes back over time similar to other SCP's, how their samples regen.

At the end of the day, I don't see how we could've ever been aware that even doing something (IE, giving him the hostage) that isn't listed as being against the server rules relating SCP-008, would end up in us being counted as breaching SCP-008. I'm also unsure about the Fail Raid part, there were around 5 MTF online during my DC.

This'll most likely get denied, but still the CI involved were unaware that even slightly helping a player could be counted as breaching 008, and it caused zero server harm aside from that player getting a chemical. I just don't think we should be punished for someone else's doing. In the future though, I will make sure to completely avoid RP with players that have intention on breaking server rules, and actively attempt to either stop or inform them of their wrong doing.

ill first post the evidence of why i issued my Decision and explain what happened and how i came to my conclusion And explain the chaotic nature of how it all unfolded

here you can see the MC&D salesmen fear rping and injecting the assistant despite being considered none combative. he picked up the syringe counting 008 as breached, so he has also received a warning that was removed and later turn into a 1 week ban at SLs request

In this clip you can clearly see you and Delcom bobby fish handing the hostage over to the MC&D and instructing him to give your regiment 3 vials of SCP 008 samples as a deal was made, quote "you give us 3 vials that is the deal" so you were more then a spectator in this, you supplied the MC&D with a hostage for 008 then expected benefit by obtaining samples. making you apart of the breach.

Now as for why i warned you, i was unsure of the punishment at the time but came to the conclusion it was just fail rp after speaking with SL, then things spiraled and i got conflicting request and miscommunication happened and they instructed me to issue a 3 day ban and extend it to 2 weeks for you 2 and 1 week for the MC&D. your warnings of FailRP have been removed,

And as for the Whole "fail Raiding" some SL dident know this was an IC rule and not an OOC rule, i do request that be altered and removed. i simply put the warning as it made in staff chat.
