Hello everyone!

Thank you for your continued support. This month we have seen a ton of new additions such as the long awaited warfunds update, radio group updates and a crap ton of new weapons. We are of course still making changes to all of these and listening to player feedback and having continued discussions regarding changes to be made. It has been a long time since the last monthly news was published and in an effort to keep that going The Platform Team has been working hard together to complete this rather than it all being written by one person. That being said thank you to @Dennid, @'Bear', @Yellow and @'Dutch' for putting this months news together.

Warfunds Addition and Update​

  • Added Warfunds to Nu-7 and CI factions,
  • Wiped all current Warfunds of all factions,
  • Added a max cap of Warfunds of $100,000,000,
  • Added tactical tablet to all CI/Nu-7 jobs including Foundation Site Admin and Site Command jobs.

Additional Foundation Characters​

  • Added the ability to buy extra character slots for Foundation Characters
  • Maximum of 4 total purchases
  • Cost: 2000 VPoints

Downing Overhaul​

  • New downed/pick-up animation.,
  • Players can now move and shoot with pistols while downed.,
  • Added a new incapacitated stage: occurs if further health is lost after being downed, preventing movement and shooting.,
  • New UI when downed.,
  • Players can now interact with and drag downed teammates.

Radio Groups​

  • This update brings a major overhaul to how radios are used in game, allowing people to sync their radios to one of several available frequencies in order to communicate with different people depending on their needs. For example, an Nu-7 Private could have access to their Regimental channel, a Joint SOP Channel, and a combined MTF Channel, and they would be able to freely switch between them.

Apex Weapon​

  • A ton of new aweome new weapon have been added for use by UNGOC, way too many to put here. Full changelog Available here with an update here.

Job Changes:


GSD Sergeant - Can issue credit to all lower-ranking GSD personnel.
UNGOC / CI Dimensional Cartographer– Can now be creditted by their respective COs
UNGOC - Assessment Team- Can now be creditted by their respective COs
Site Advisor- Allowed Access to ERT Phones.
ERT - Now Receives Hacking Alerts


Weapon Changes:


FHR-40 - Increased Recoil, Increased ADS Recoil
M240b - +16.7% RPM


SCP Changes:

  • Containment beams are now 10 times as effective against SCP-073 "Cain"
⠀⠀⠀⠀Now 2 people should be able to beam SCP-073 instead of the 20+ it required before
  • Containment beams can now no longer target SCP-106,
⠀⠀⠀⠀Beaming 106 has zero effect as he follows his own custom recontainment mechanics.
  • Unpacifiable SCPs can now no longer be cuffed,
⠀⠀⠀⠀This stops players from cuffing 096 while enraged, and prevents 079 and 106 from ever being cuffed
  • Lowered SCP-912's level requirements
    • Total Level: 9 -> 10
    • SCP Level: 4 -> 0
  • Raised SCP-035's level requirements
    • Total Level: 10 -> 15
    • SCP Level: 0 -> 4
  • SCP-082 - Moved containment cell from HCZ Non-spec to LCZ Non-spec
  • SCP Sampling Limits​

    • Added configurable limits to how many samples can be extracted from SCPs.
    • Each SCP can be configured independently
    • Added hard coded limit to how much blood can be drawn from a player.


Misc Changes:


Radios can now be stripped using weapon checkers.
Cyanide Pills - Added Attribute: dropKeycardsOnDeath
Bleach - Added Attribute: dropKeycardsOnDeath
Added Big Steve's Stella as a scavengeable item from Food stashes.
changed UNGOC color to #5f95e6 ahead of future content update
  • Introduced Nuke Zones
    • Configurable areas where all players inside are killed when the warhead detonates.,
    • Resolves the issue where the nuke failed to kill anyone since the last map update.
  • Interrogation Tool​

    • When interrogating a member of your own faction for their keycards, the duration is reduced by 75%
      • D-Class and SCPs are exempt from this reduction on both ends of the interaction.
  • Skills​

    • Skills are now tracked per-player instead of per-character.,
    • To migrate old skills, play your characters — their total skill XP will be added to your player XP total.
  • Main Menu

    • Reworked framework behind the main menu (no visual changes, except for fading animation).,
    • Certain headers now use team colour (instead of bright team colour).,
    • Added visual indicator when a character cannot be created on a specific team.,
    • Favourites no longer appear on team job overviews.,
    • Added loading animation when characters are still loading.,
    • Background updated from static location to CCTV feed.

Bugfixes

CG SCP PM Combined​

  • Removed untextured bodygroups on the TYPE-GREEN playermodels that would cause missing textures when using the Escape Card ability,
  • Aligned SCP-457's new model's hitbox,
  • Fixed blank eyes on the female researcher models,
  • Fixed male consultant accessory clipping and eye alignment

VGuns SCP​

  • Fixed a VMT error on the HK417,
  • Removed the default sight base on the MK18 which would obstruct the shooter's view,
  • Fixed the Sanctum SR's reticle being misaligned on first equip,
  • Fixed flashlight origin positionbeing incorrect on certain guns
    • Caused by some guns missing a defined muzzle attachment in their .mdl file. If none is found it defaults to the first existing attachment,
  • Fixed ADS Scope drifting left or right when aiming up or down on a weapon that has a yaw angle viewmodel offset
    • Lots of jargon, basically fixed the viewmodel rendering code so your reticle always stays consistent regardless of where you're looking|,

  • Edited Muzzle Flash Effect to not block vision while firing,

VWAR​

  • Fixed a bug where terminatable SCPs would not take any damage if the incoming damage was only enough to down them, instead of killing them.

Rules Changes


REMOVED:

1.20 Sampling Limit - Each group (department, MTF unit, or faction like UNGOC/CI) may only sample up to 3 litres from any single SCP every 30 minutes.

Changed 1.12 Realistic Equipment Use From:

1.12 Realistic Equipment Use - Equipment must be used realistically and not be abused. Advanced Armory equipment must not be used against human combatants, Matadors (RPG) can be used only against armored vehicles.

Changed rule 3.05(A) from:

Surface Jobs Trespassing Rules - Mayor, Gun Dealers, Chefs & Medics are forbidden from entering the Foundation base, Chaos Base or UNGOC base without an Invitation from the respective RP leaders (LTCOM+, GOC LT+/CI DELCOM+).
To
3.05(a) Surface Jobs Trespassing Rules - Civilian faction jobs are forbidden from entering the Foundation base, Chaos Insurgency base, or UNGOC base without either justifiable in-character belief that they have been invited in by a member of that faction, or an active threat forcing them to do so (e.g. an SCP attacking).
